Do not buy a car through Borman. Their sales department staff will try every old school car dealer trick in the book on you. They will over-price the new vehicle, under-value your trade-in, and offer you h staff will try every old school car dealer trick in the book on you. They will over-price the new vehicle, under-value your trade-in, and offer you horrendous financing. They will try to pressure you into buying in multiple ways. Attempting to buy a car through Borman was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. Save yourself a lot of money and go somewhere else. The Borman service department, on the other hand, has always treated my square. More
The dealers are all really friendly when you are there to buy a car, it all goes down hill once you actually sign the papers. I am basically screwed because they told me there was only one problem with the c buy a car, it all goes down hill once you actually sign the papers. I am basically screwed because they told me there was only one problem with the car I was buying, was an easy fix, I am having multiple problems with the car, I should not have trusted them. Now I know why the price of the car was so great, I believe they knew about the problems but are hiding it now, I highly doubt all these problems just started as soon as I drive off the lot it's been less than a month. On top of it we had the hardest time trying to get them their money! We could never get a hold of anyone who would help, it's almost as if they have never had a car financed from a personal bank. Boss of salesman tried to force us into buying vehicle in color and option package we did NOT want. (More expensive of course.) Never offered to try to find what we wanted at another regional dealership, a c color and option package we did NOT want. (More expensive of course.) Never offered to try to find what we wanted at another regional dealership, a customer service tactic we found out later they could do. Felt sorry for our salesman as he was in trouble with his boss because we would not buy that day. Later did my own looking online of regional inventory and found model and options we wanted in Artesia, and that dealership worked with us via email and phone to negotiate price. Then they met us at a location 2 hours from Artesia, making us drive only one hour from home to where we were doing our financing anyway. More
Changed owners, went to "one price". Changed owners, went to "one price". Service center told me an expensive oil leak to fix, about $1000. My trusted mechanic of 10 years told me the Changed owners, went to "one price". Service center told me an expensive oil leak to fix, about $1000. My trusted mechanic of 10 years told me there was none. "One price" is pretty subject to what they want to add on after you fill out papers for an hour or so. All in all, can get a good price there, but SLEEZY as in old time sleezy car salesmen. More
Horrible place to but a car. Choose another dealer. The salesmen are not allowed to tell you what price the vehicles are, so you cant know what is in your budget. The price is based off your credit. If you salesmen are not allowed to tell you what price the vehicles are, so you cant know what is in your budget. The price is based off your credit. If your credit score is not so hot the price increases by thousands. The process to buy the car takes sooooo long i was there for over 7 hours, trying to negotiate a price because I had researched the car that I wanted online and was aware of the price range. Finally we agreed upon a price. A week later I was told the financing did not go thru. I had to either return the car or agree to a higher price at a higher intererst rate and the payments had increased by a lot. I had already added the car to my insurance. They are crooks and liars. choose another dealership. More
A truly pleasant experience. I left with my new car feeling I got the best deal and trade-in. Borman will surely be my first choice for my next car. feeling I got the best deal and trade-in. Borman will surely be my first choice for my next car. More
WEnt in to buy a car as advertised, turns out advertised price was only if you used THEIR financing. Salesperson could not do anything without first talking to his manager. They kept shoving pieces of pape price was only if you used THEIR financing. Salesperson could not do anything without first talking to his manager. They kept shoving pieces of paper with payment per month in front of our face. They REFUSED to give exact sales price, tax, title , license fees. Turns out they were HIDING a 36 month car warranty that cost 2200 dollars in the deal!!! They quoted us one interest rate, than figured out the payments for a rate 2 per cent higher! They were very conniving, would not break down what we were paying for the vehicle until we about to leave. I never found out what the car would have cost!! We went to El Paso and bought a Mini-Cooper. It was like night and day, everything up front, no hidden fees, even got a better interest rate than what WSFCU promised! You almost need an attorney to shop at Borman's! More

I purchased a 2009 car from this dealership. I waited around to sign paperwork and wasn't able to drive off the lot for over 12 hours. Everybody had excuses to why it was taking so long. After all this around to sign paperwork and wasn't able to drive off the lot for over 12 hours. Everybody had excuses to why it was taking so long. After all this I was surprised when it began falling apart less than 30 days after purchasing it. I called the insurance company that I purchased through Borman and they refused to pay for any repairs. They told me that Borman would be responsible. I called them to ask them about it and they told me too bad I would have to pay for everything on my own. They sold me a car knowing there was a possibility that this car would fall apart. They were more concerned with the money than anybody's safety. What if I was on the freeway or had my kids in the car or was in the middle of traffic? More
My sales person respected my wishes while I was shopping. I requested that he "leave me alone" until I asked for him. He gave me his card and went away. I dislike being "hawked" by a salesman. When I wan I requested that he "leave me alone" until I asked for him. He gave me his card and went away. I dislike being "hawked" by a salesman. When I want something I will ask. The negotiations were smooth and I thought they were fair. I did price match with another dealer and I got the deal I wanted at Borman. The finance person was excellent. We did what had to be done in a quick and timely manner. At delivery, my truck had to be "re-inspected" and cleaned prior to my acceptance. My sales person was most pleasant to deal with when this happened. After the cleaning, he, (the sales person), said "Those windows look very bad". He took the vehicle back to the shop and PERSONALLY cleaned the windows. I felt this was above and beyond what a salesperson normally does and I made it known to his management team immediately. I've been back to the dealership several times and have continued to get the type treatment noted above. I must add, that on at least 2 occasions it was the finance person who assisted me. And the assistance had nothing to do with finance. My salesman was either not at work or was with another customer on each of these occasions. Would I recommend this dealership to friend or family????? A B S O L U T E L Y !!!!!!! I hope the service department will maintain the high standards set by the sales and finance departments. More
