Don't follow my dead path, especially, new buyer. Stay away from this Rip Off dealer. Just stay away from this dealer, they just want to pick on your pocket with sweet and honey to your ears. They always focus more on profit and sell their cars away than helping you to make friend in the long run with your new car. They could also put you in debt for life just to legally sell you a car. This dealer is a rip-off and Joking bussiness. They promissed me to give me a good deal on buying the new Hyundai Genesis coupe I wanted. I lived in Texas. As a first time buyer, I was so excited to hear that my short-history credit application was excepted and ready to go. I quickly drove fast to the dealership to get my dream car. The financing option was not informed to me through the phone. They wanted me to get there before beginning explain my financing option. They didn't let me know which finaning company would I pair with to go online to research. They sent me an email said they would beat any higher price in anywhere so I compare their offer with Hyundai Norman on the same model : 2015 new Hyundai genesis coupe. Norman: $22,500, Carty: $29,500. They said they will take care of it and give me a "heck of a deal" when I get there to see the car. I got there with the trade-in Honda Accord 2009 ex sedan with a very good condition of about $6000-7000 fair Dealer trade in rate. They gave me only $4000. The deal? They discount only $500 more for me which made the total $29,150. This is so rediculous. They want to sell me a 2015 car with $6000 more than it's fair market value. Being so hypnotized by the car, I accept everything even with the xxxx high interest rate of 20%. I drove the car out of the lot with a hidden scratch on the wheel rim. These people know that I am novice as a first time buyer, also, they just want to kick that car away because it's manual transmission and Genesis coupe model is not popular in the US. They didn't care about me, they just want to get the money. I finally know that Santander consumer USA is my auto lender. This company is an evil company with terrible service, bad customer review of 1.2/5 stars with 1021 complaints on the Website. They are going to take $500 out of my $700 monthly payment as their interest charge. I decided to return the car back and got a refusion from Carty Hyundai with no negotiation of finance another one to fit my wallet. They strictly tell me to keep it and live with the debt like a "thanks, idiot". Everything is on the prints under my signatures, so the law is on their side. The car was delivered with "WE OWE" statement. I have to pay registration by myself, the car won't be tinted nor anything other than itself. Im writing this admited everything That I have regreted was my own fault, I'm newbie. However, that's how the dealership does and trick my weak experience just to sell a fast-depriciated car away and still earn big profit. They know I wouldn't want to make a trip home with nothing, and that is my weakness that they could see to use. The guy Robert did not well explained the gap insurance for me, too. He just said that it could lower my APR and raise my total amount a bit. "A bit" here is $3500 after I research. I always love Hyundai car, but my first experience with it is going to be a real long nightmare. Please keep anyone out there stay away from this Hyundai dealership. To sum up, this is what they did: sold a $23,500 (ACV) worth for $29,150, Ripped off their customer's trade-in good car for $4000 as a Gap insurance, match their customer with one of the monster auto finances called "Santander Consumer USA," and sold a vehicle with cover of pre-service like registration tax and window tint. I called them to ask how could they did that, the general manager told me that Santander is a "GOOD" Company. Toyota seems more trustworthy than Hyundai. I have never seen any bad review on their dealerships or their vehicles. They also try to care more about their customers than trying to pull money out of their pockets. More
