Gary went above and beyond in his service to me and my vehicle...saying that he was going to treat it like his own. He's very new there but already I think he's fitting in great. I brought my 2006 Nissan Altima in due to some transmission issues. I originally worked with Carl Taylor who was a great guy and extremely professional and on the second day, I was assisted by Mi transmission issues. Soon after hooking my car up and doing some diagnostics, they told me that my Crankshaft Sensor needed to be replaced in order to find out why the transmission was tripping up. I always have my guard up and was worried that I was being upsold. They put me at ease that the sensor needed to be replaced and if it made me more comfortable, I could do it myself or take to another shop. I decided to have them do it & once they replaced the sensor and reprogrammed something related to the recall, the car was ready to go. Then my wife forwarded me an email from the Dealer that we purchased the car from that made reference to a recall for this exact "Crankshaft Sensor" issue. Mr. Garcia pulled up my car using the VIN# and showed the recalls associated with my vehicle and the "Crankshaft Sensor" was not one of them. I felt better about it but let him know that I would reach out to Nissan directly because the description of the issue in the recall is exactly what happened to me. I was confident that Nissan Carson did everything in their power to help and put me at ease with seeing the computer screen. Then Mike went a step further and sympathized with my situation and saw my point. He decided to apply for "Customer Satisfaction Waiver" or something like that which took care of the entire repair for free. Our family has purchased over 6 Nissans in the last 10 years but what he didn't know was that I had a bad experience with "Ignition Plugs" on my Nissan Maxima that ran me over $1000 to repair on two separate occasions. That experience had me wavering on whether to try another car company in the next 24 months. My experience with Mike is making me seriously reconsider. Plus, the new Maxima's look pretty sharp. More

Went to Pep Boys for free diagnostic. Not a free diagnostic after all. Got a quote for repair at $800. Told them I was going to call dealer. Mike told me to bring it to him. He said Diagnosis did no diagnostic after all. Got a quote for repair at $800. Told them I was going to call dealer. Mike told me to bring it to him. He said Diagnosis did not sound right. Instead of an entire fuel pump assembly, all I needed was a fuel gauge sensor. Saved me $400 and Carson Nissan washed and vacuumed my Frontier pick up!!! I got a free diagnostic from Carson Nissan and they do not even advertise it like Pep Boys. Pep boys was not even free!!! Mike recommended I return to Pep Boys for a refund on the Diagnostic bill. I did return to Pep Boys with my receipt from Carson Nissan. They could not argue with both receipts in front of them!!! I will continue to use Carson Nissan for any repair or scheduled maintenance. I was impressed with their service. They are quick, friendly, but do take too much time in washing the vehicle. Had to wait one day 45 min to an hour. I normally go to the Nissan Service center in Long Beach, but when I drove by the other day and there was nothing there, I realized it had closed. I was a bit miffed that I had to drive "4 minutes down the 4 but when I drove by the other day and there was nothing there, I realized it had closed. I was just going to go and see if I could make an appointment but came out a little while later with my car fixed, super friendly service from Jack, the awesome rep that helped me, and a smile on my face. I am no longer "miffed" and would drive the extra 4 minutes in a heartbeat and of course recommend the dealership to anyone looking for a smooth, unobtrusive experience at a car lot. (and...I actually got my car fixed without any hassle). More
