I wouldn't buy another car from this dealership. Stay away! More

Other than that the service & price was reasonable, and the waiting room was large and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. I purchased my car there and the sales team worked with me to get a good price on my trade-in, and the car I wanted at the deal I needed. More

Horrible Horrible Horrible liars I recently purchased a new 2016 Tahoe from this dealership and loathe the dealership, the management, the sales staff, the finance department and espe I recently purchased a new 2016 Tahoe from this dealership and loathe the dealership, the management, the sales staff, the finance department and especially the smart xxx young lady who answers the phones. After we agreed on the sale price of the new vehicle we were buying and how much they would give us for a trade in, we purchased the vehicle. We went to financing and signed all the paperwork as usual. Half way through the closing process I inquired who was the vehicle being financed by and at what interest rate. I was told that they are still finalizing the financing and interest rate but would have an answer for me the following day. They took our vehicle in on trade and let us leave with our new car. The next day turned into seven days, in which time our salesman went MIA, Jarrad in financing, refused to call us back and we could never get past the girls who answers the phones, despite asking for management several times. A week later, we finally received a telephone call wanting us to get to the dealership as soon as possible so we could finalize the financing. I simply asked if A. Did we get the vehicle financed? and B) What financial company picked us up as their customer. Again, Jarred refused to give me any information over the phone and referred to some alleged xxxxxxxx privacy issues, despite filling out a credit application with him, giving him my full name, date of birth, social security number, driver's license number, home phone, cell phone, work phone, employment, address, gross yearly income and personal references. At this point we would have not purchased the vehicle from this dealership, however, they had us locked into a contract from the prior week. We ended up putting money down and then agreed to put additional money down the following two weeks. After weeks passing Starling Chevrolet hadn't paid off my vehicle I had traded in and I had my previous finance company calling me daily wanting to know when we would be making a payment. We informed them on several occasions we had sold the vehicle to Starling Chevrolet and to contact them. We also contacted Starling Chevrolet and were told they would not be paying off our vehicle until a post dated check was cashed. I'm fairly sure that's not legal. We had a contract and if I would have had any intention on defaulting on the post dated check (which we didn't) they would have to take us to civil court. It would also give us grounds to sue the dealership for not paying off the vehicle. As if this wasn't bad enough we were given the vehicle without it being detailed. I tried to set up an appointment to have it detailed since we live an hour away and were told to "just come on in." I'm sure you can image me sitting there all day waiting..... I don't think so. My husband lost a piece of paper we received at closing and needed a copy from the dealership. It started up all over again. We could never speak to anyone in a position other than the smart xxx girl who answers the phones. We then contacted Chevrolet's Corporate Office and explained to them what was going on. The Chevrolet Corporate employee couldn't have been any nicer and more understanding. Chevrolet Corporate then called Starling Chevrolet on four (4) separate occasions within a thirty minute time period to try and get us some help. The sales manager was really rude with Chevrolet Corporate and they stated how rude they were and if they were treating corporate like that, she couldn't image, how badly they were treating us. We were finally able to get someone on the phone from the dealership to help us. My husband had the phone on speaker so we both hear the conversation and it was so unbelievable how much Leo and Jarrad were lying. They claimed they had called me several times and I refused to call them back even though my husband and I were together the whole time. I can NOT stress enough, take your business elsewhere unless you like to be ignored and lied too during the entire process. I also filed a complaint with the BBB regarding them not paying off my trade in and discovered they have a F rating with the BBB.org and have contacted Channel 9 action reporter. More

Worst Car Buying Experience Ever This was by far the worst experience we had buying a car ANYWHERE. We dealt with 4 different people. Including 1st guy (no name, we'll call him X) & This was by far the worst experience we had buying a car ANYWHERE. We dealt with 4 different people. Including 1st guy (no name, we'll call him X) & Jon (both Salesman), Corey (claimed to be the general manager) and Matt from accounting. All besides Jon were very unprofessional and border line con artists and proficient liars. It started out with the first salesman showing us the vehicle. We were in the market for a truck and had decided for a Colorado. We went on a test drive and everything was ok. We had a list of items we needed the car to have. Steps, a hitch and lining on the truck bed. After the test drive we proceeded to negotiations. I asked him about the hitch and steps and he proceeded to show me a hitch on a different vehicle and said ours would come with the same. He did mention it didn't have the steps but that it would not be a deal breaker and he would have them put on. The car was not lined and we were O.K with getting 2 out of the 3 items we needed. When talking financing, he asked us for our financial information. My partner did not want to have his credit pulled due to the fact we had just closed on our home right before walking into the dealership. He said no hard pulls would be made on his credit and that was only for their records. Not sure why they needed his social security number when he had already said NO HARD PULLS were to be made on his credit; He didn't even sign the document authorizing them to run it. We told them we were not willing to go over 30k and needed a payment around 400 max. We had already been there for 3 1/2 hrs and were running late for an appointment we had in Orlando. We told him we would be back after the appointment to finish the process. After we left, the dealership called us insisting that we made it back there. We told them we would be back after we were done in Orlando. They felt the need to call us back again, this time trying to get more financial information over the phone and then telling us they were getting the vehicle detailed and the tank filled so it was ready to go. We asked them not o call back after the 3rd time. We were running errands and they were very forceful, this time it was Corey on the phone, He said they would give us a great deal; employee pricing as it was the end of their fiscal year and they had a quota to meet. That made the deal seem like a no brainer. Unfortunately it was shown later they were only using of their con artistry & lies mastery. At around 8 we made it back to the dealership; XXXX was no longer there and had left Jon in charge of finishing his deal. When running over the deal with Jon, we found many mistakes on the application form.We had no idea how serious and how many they really were until we made it to accounting... As we were speaking to Jon he ran over the truck specs and did not mention the hitch nor steps. I then asked him about those two items and he said the car did not come with any and they had not been made part of the deal. Conveniently enough xxxxx had left and "did not fill Jon in "as he stated. We had also dealt briefly with Corey earlier in the day; As he was the one who called us with the GREAT DEAL OFFER we asked him to come over and explain in more details what was going on. After about an eternity of negotiations and a lot of he said, she said and broken promises he said they could not by any means add the hitch nor the steps as it had been previously agreed because they were now giving us employee pricing. He said we could have those two items added later with the savings we were receiving. We were not happy with his answers but it seemed reasonable considering we were getting a better discount. After that fiasco was over we proceeded to meet with Matt in accounting to go over financing. That was the Ditsy Daisy show.... Matt didn't seem very knowledgeable on the details of the deal and was trying to wing it all and leave, considering we were running over an hour past their closing time. When going over the papers I realized they had plugged my partners social security number under my name and had ran his credit, which became another can of worms to deal with. SPECIALLY because he had been very straight forward with them about not messing with his credit. He could not explain why or how that happened.... Again, it was very clear why it happened... They were all over the place.... It seemed like the whole dealership was on drugs. Nobody on planet Earth at all. After a lot of excuses and no good answers he said not to worry that it was only a soft pull and that it would not show as an inquiry on his credit report. We were O.K with the soft pull. Companies do that all the time. We then continued with the paperwork. While signing the papers my partner realized the total was off by TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS, just a small amount, correct? When we asked Matt about this discrepancy he had nothing to say and no idea where the MYSTERIOUS number had come from, only that it was neatly typed into the roster of charges to be paid. He proceeded to remove the 2k and continue with the process. It is still unclear to us, even up to today whether or not we got the employee price as stated. We were so tired and spent that we just wanted to leave at this point. When we got the car it had not been detailed nor had it been filled as promised. My partner just wanted to be done at that stage. We went home and surprise, surprise.... The following morning my partner got a notification that his credit had been pulled when they swore it was not. The next business day we went back in to talk about the credit pull, the 2k mistake on the form and to make sure the employee pricing had been honored as agreed. We were not given a detailed sheet of charges, just a general one. We put over 10% in down payment and the amount financed still came to over 30k. Not sure why. After about two hours of very unpleasant bickering with the so called super professional General Manager Corey, nothing had been resolved and no answers given. He said there was nothing he could do about the credit inquiry besides apologizing. If I wanted I could dispute with the bureau and he would then have it deleted. We asked to look at the financial form with my partners signature authorizing them to run his credit along with a break down of all charges and fees so we could make sure they had honored at least the employee pricing. NOT TO OUR SURPRISE he could not provide any of those, claiming they had already been sent out and a request would have to be made for them. Our nightmare started on March 24th. We are still waiting on a resolution from STARLING Chevrolet. No signed credit inquiry form nor the financial breakdown of our deal has been received. We asked for them again when the internal customer relations department called us to ask about or experience. We are now considering legal actions against Chevrolet. Their dancing around is only a confirmation of the shady business Starling is running and their total disregard to their customers satisfaction and overall experience. Starling should not be in business and no one should grace them with a purchase. There should be an option here for negative stars. I would happily award it to them. STARLING... if you actually ready these reviews, please note that I am still waiting on that email from Corey with the signed application, the inquiry to be removed and the charges breakdown showing employee pricing/discounts. Starling Should consider a name change.. "Stealing Chevrolet" seems more conducive to their business model. Sincerely, A VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER More
