My experience at Carolina Nissan in Burlington, NC this morning - 12/12/24 I took my ‘24 Nissan Frontier in for its first service. I arrived for my appointment, pulled into the receiving bay, explained morning - 12/12/24 I took my ‘24 Nissan Frontier in for its first service. I arrived for my appointment, pulled into the receiving bay, explained who I was and why I was there. A man (Phillip?) greeted me, took my fob, and showed me to the waiting area. The waiting area was clean, bright, and full of things to keep a waiting customer occupied. There was coffee, doughnuts, a BIG TV, and even free video games. As I waited, Phillip text me to say I could contact him with any needs/questions I may have during my service visit. After about an hour, my truck was ready. Oil change, tire rotation, chassis lube, etc. was all it needed. I was pleasantly surprised that the service was free, as it was included under the extended warranty and service plan I bought from Nissan when I purchased my truck back in June. (I purchased from Carolina Nissan) It was a fine experience and I had no trouble at all. I saw none of the negative things people are saying in these reviews. More
IF YOU ENJOY BEING INSULTED, GAS-LIT AND IGNORED. ..THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! I wish I had read some of the reviews on this dealership before I decided to spend my hard-earned money here. I'm taking ..THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! I wish I had read some of the reviews on this dealership before I decided to spend my hard-earned money here. I'm taking the time to warn everyone...DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP...THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I found this out the hard way, so don't let that be you! Up front, they are ok and will be friendly...right up until they've made the sale and gotten your money! After the sale, they simply don't care. Several months ago, I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Carolina Nissan. When it came time for the next oil change, it was nearly impossible to get the oil filter off. In the process of trying to remove it, it got partially crumpled, causing it to leak oil. When I called the salesperson who sold me the vehicle, he confirmed an oil change was completed as part of the pre-delivery multi-point inspection the dealership does for all pre-owned vehicles. I explained (multiple times) that whoever did the oil change at the dealership installed the oil filter so tightly (or no coating of oil was applied to the gasket) that it ended up being partially crushed and leaking when attempting to remove it. I was told he would let someone from the service department know what happened and they would contact me the next morning to work out a solution, since they (the service department) were closed for the day. The next day came and went and nobody called me. In the meantime, so I wouldn't be without my vehicle, I had to get the oil change completed by having it towed to another dealership. It had to be towed because the oil filter was leaking and couldn't be removed...so the engine couldn't even be started. The other dealership commented on how tight the oil filter was and they barely got it off, even with all they tools they have at their disposal. I contacted Carolina Nissan the following morning to ask the same salesperson to find out why nobody called me. I got a bunch of excuses and was told I would get a call back. I never got a call back. The following day (3rd day), since I was getting ignored and hadn't gotten a call back, I went in-person to the dealership to let them know about the entire situation and to let them know they had a technician that did the oil change improperly. I spoke with the sales manager, Mike Manoogian. After letting him know I didn't appreciate the fact that nobody got back with me and explaining the situation to him with all the trouble I had to go through, his immediate response was to get defensive and be completely dismissive of my concerns. He questioned my integrity as well as my automotive maintenance knowledge and skills...even though I've been doing it for decades. He offered no desire to understand what happened, or offer any solutions or concern over the possibility that there might be an issue with the service tech who did the service on this vehicle. One thing that I found interesting was the employee turnover. There were a number of new faces at the dealership, that I hadn't seen just two months earlier...including the sales manager. This indicates to me that this is not a good place to work...leading to high employee turnover. This certainly helps explain the poor customer service and poor accountability. Suffice it to say, I will never be a customer of Carolina Nissan, and I will warn everyone I know to stay away from this place. Single worst dealership I've ever dealt with...and I’ve been purchasing cars from dealerships since 1989. More

I adjusted the level myself rather than take it back. After getting the axle replaced sent us a text , thanking us for our business and said if we were not 100% satisfied to call or text her. I texted her of the issue and said I would like to be reimbursed for the oil I bought and later had to drain out. It’s expensive. Never heard back from her. And wife and I were thinking about buying a new vehicle. We had bought 2 from this dealer. But probably won’t buy another there. More
Carolina Nissan has serviced my Frontier since its purchase in 2014. Their service department has steadily declined. Without reciting all of my issues, I will just say that I will not take my Fronti purchase in 2014. Their service department has steadily declined. Without reciting all of my issues, I will just say that I will not take my Frontier back for service unless there are no other alternatives. I tried to talk to Mr Cravens, manager of service but he did not return my call. More
I have purchased 2 cars from them a Nissan Versa and a 350Z. I have used their service and found them to be reliable. But they had my car in for a $1700 repair and it came back with some damage. They r 350Z. I have used their service and found them to be reliable. But they had my car in for a $1700 repair and it came back with some damage. They refuse to do anything about this matter a so I must say that this is not the correct way to keep customers. I even gave them a pass on one of the damaged parts to the car. I will never use them again and will not buy a Nissan again. Companies always have these surveys after service. I have noticed that I did not get one this time. So this is my feedback. More

Nissan will not issue a recall the will only give you what they call "good will" Still cost me $1000 to fix my car. The local service tech was so disrespectful because we bought in the car to get repaired. We were referred to as "you people" yes the customer was you people. We were never offered a loaner car. The repair took almost three weeks. I would never have any car serviced here at Carolina Nissan. There was never even an apology. More

Buyer Beware! If you buy a new Nissan outside of Burlington and think that you can have it serviced at Carolina Nissan, you are wrong. We bought a new Nissan. We got a price quote from Carolina Niss Burlington and think that you can have it serviced at Carolina Nissan, you are wrong. We bought a new Nissan. We got a price quote from Carolina Nissan, then from Crown Nissan. Crown was $1500.00 less, so of course we bought from Crown. When the oil needed changing, I called to make an appointment with Carolina Nissan and was told by Chris Dubs that I would not like him at the end of our conversation because I didn't need to ever bring my car there, that they only service new cars that were bought from them. We tried to call the owner, Terry Crenshaw twice. He never took our calls or returned our calls. The calls were answered by Joel Hyder, who was extremely rude. I called Nissan's corporate office. They spoke with someone at Carolina Nissan and was told that I could drop my car one evening and pick it up by the end of business the next day to have the oil changed. I made the appointment and dropped the car off. I was told at 5:35 pm the next day that they had not touched my car. They "just didn't have time and didn't know when they might." They never intended to service the car in the first place. This is how we were treated and we have bought at least 5 cars from Carolina Nissan in the last 25 years. I have heard NUMEROUS stories from others since this happened. We love our car but will never buy another Nissan because of this. More
