I spent 22 years in the Army and have been all over to world. During those years we have driven Jeeps exclusively and don't even think about other brands because Jeep's have been awesome and the quality is absolutely outstanding. We have 3 Jeeps right now so it's safe to say we are a loyal Jeep family. Over the years we have visited many Jeep dealerships and had great experiences. I am now retired from the Army and we live on Lake Wateree near Lugoff and I have to say, our local dealership is by far the best dealership I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Below is just one example of the extraordinary service we recently received there. My daughter came to me one Saturday afternoon and said, something is wrong - my Jeep is not acting right and the check engine light is on. Knowing the deanship was backed up due to the recent flooding with it being noon on a Saturday I picked up the phone and called the service department and got Chris Brown- not really expecting them to be able to help over the weekend. I asked if there was anyway they could at least take a quick look and see if it was safe for her to drive or if we had to get it repaired first. They told me to bring the car in right then and my daughter headed out to the dealership. She came home within an hour driving a new car that they had given her to drive and they kept her car. Within a couple days her car was fixed and has been perfect since. In my 22+ years of driving Jeeps not sure I have had a better experience. This could not have happened at a time that we needed it more. What they didn't know when I called that day was that I had been diagnosed with cancer a few days earlier and was scheduled to start chemo that following Monday. Additionally, we had just had a death in the family. I was stressed and overwhelmed and had a million things I was trying to get done that weekend before I started treatment. The last thing I needed was a car problem to deal with and to try and sort out how to get my daughter to school that Monday. They simplified my life and turned an untimely problem into a great experience. The service department folks also probably didn't realized it then, but they sold me a new car that very day. This past weekend we traded in one of our Jeeps and bought a new Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland - we pick it up today - ironically when I am done with my 2nd chemo treatment that I am undergoing right now. Robbie Hunter, Chris Brown, Alicia Martin and the entire service staff is awesome - I would not consider going anywhere else. Although this is one example of great service - every visit with them has been a pleasure - Thanks!! Car buying use to always be purely about getting the best price and nothing else mattered. Robbie and his team are so good and professional it has really changed the way I think about dealerships and car buying. That, said they are also very competitive on price and I feel that I get a better deal there than all the really large volume dealerships that I use to go to. I have now bought 2 new Jeeps from Carolina Chrysler Dodge Jeep in the last year. I have probably bought 20 + jeeps over the years and buying a new car has never been easier and more of a pleasure than buying from you guys!! Jason Stevens, Cody Grantham and David Nudelman were awesome and made this a great experience. I would not dream of going anywhere else and I am so grateful that after 22 years of traveling the world that one of the very best Jeep dealerships in the business is right here is my own backyard in Lugoff, SC. To a certain point you have to try to encourage a sale but they were 100% right where I will come back instead of not since I wasn't going to buy today anyway. Went in to get oil change and actually almost bought a truck. They did get me driving it. Will be back within 6 months to buy. More
I dropped off my durango at lunch time for replacement of a thermostat, coolant flush and oil change. I received 2 calls telling me I had to have additional work done, over $1300 dollars worth of work. Thi a thermostat, coolant flush and oil change. I received 2 calls telling me I had to have additional work done, over $1300 dollars worth of work. This was by 9AM the next day. When I asked if the original work had been done, it had not. I was getting the up sell treatment. I told them to complete the original work request, and I would be in to pick up my truck. The service manager was there when I arrived, I told him about my experience and that I was very displeased with the service. He continued to tell me I needed the work done, and I quickly explained that I know a little bit about cars and knew exactly what I needed. He then went into Smart A mode and I told him we would settle up for what he had done and I would leave and not ever come back. My bill for the above work, a spare key, a radiator hose and 1 day rental car was $549.00!!! I was charged over $90 for the hose!!! And when I got home, they had used a much thinner oil than is spec-ed by Dodge for my truck, I'm sure to allow leaks to be more visible. So now I get to take my truck to the local service station for a correct oil change. One of the up sells they had tried on me was a Rear Main Seal for about $500+. I was also told I didn't know what I was talking about with my thermostat. I was told my truck would continue to overheat unless I replaced the fan clutch. Well it ran cooler after the new thermostat than it ever has in the year and a half I've had it. These guys are a bunch of con artists, stay away if you value your checkbook!!! More
We purchased a 2013 Dodge Avenger at Carolina Dodge in Lugoff. We worked with Steve, very good, honest deal. While driving the car, we experienced hard shifting in the transmission. Called Cera, she advised to drive on in, at 4:30, arrived at the dealership, by 6 we were in a rental car. Brought the car home today with a new transmission installed, could not have been more impressed with the service department. Keep us informed, made sure we were happy with the rental vehicle. We have dealt with several dealerships in the past, have never experienced the kind of service that we received this time. They really do care! You're not just another deal. They care after the sale! Heads up to the whole organization, but really need to pat the service writers on the back! More
After having a new wheel installed on a new 2014 Jeep GC Ltd, I notes a shimmy in the steering wheel and took it back for rebalancing of the wheel, which corrected the situation. A shop mishap to my vehicle broke the rear spoiler as the repair person backed it out of the shop, not noticing that the shop bay door had not fully opened. The service manager was very empathetic and apologetic, but more than that quickly offered complete restoration to like new, a rental vehicle and as quick repair as possible. This was very quickly fulfilled to my satisfaction and I so informed the overall manager of my satisfaction. It was difficult to accept 2 non- self induced accidents to myh new Jeep in less than 2 weeks, but you go with the flow and the disappointment is minimized. I am greatly appreciative for caring service, not only to the Jeep, but to me as a person. This Jeep is my 6th and I will recommend this agency without hesitation. The shop incidence will produce more caution in the repair person, I am sure. By the way, I was driving a 2010 Lexus RX350, which I gave to my wife because I liked the styling, power, transmission, the central console functions, trim and ride in general. The new shift of the transmission took a little getting use to but now is secong nature. This is a great vehicle. More

She had the part I needed in stock and gave me some helpful tips on how to install it. A few days later I decided to put side-steps on my truck. After going on line and finding a pair, I went to see Beth and check out the Dodge inventory. Their side steps were more costly, but Beth showed me a pair she had purchased on line just for comparison. They online items were of decidely lesser quality. I purchased the steps from Dodge. The steps had to be ordered. When they arrived Beth called to inform me. After they arrived, she put my truck on a lift to show me how and where to fasten the braces. Her knowledge and superb customer service has earned my loyalty to your business. I will also share my positive experience with others. More
I rate this dealership A-1 because I have yet to meet anyone who hasn't been extremely helpful and friendly beyond the normal. I was traveling with my two brothers and a friend, from Chicago to Myrtle Beach, SC. My van broke down on Interstate 20, just outside of Columbia, SC. The staff worked with me to have my van serviced in Chicago to Myrtle Beach, SC. My van broke down on Interstate 20, just outside of Columbia, SC. The staff worked with me to have my van serviced in time for us to return home. They were courteous, compassionate, and communicated with me through every step of the repairs. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle, or service in the SC area. I only wish they were in Chicago, so that I could frequent their establishment.
