We had initially had a great exeperience with this dealer. Steve was very knowledgable about the car and everything that he made us feel comfortable. We ended up leaving the dealership with a car that was about $4500 over our initially stated price range. We fell in love with the car and after a lot of debate between my husband and I, i.e. how can we afford this? What do we need to cut out? We even considered cuting out some of our utilities to be able to afford this car. We went back and forth with Steve to see if there was any way to come down on the price at all and he said there was no lee-way. Eventually we agree that it would be beneficial for us in the long run and went forth with the deal. It wasn't until late that night that we realized we had been screwed. My husband was looking online to see what other cars we could have gotten with the price we ended up settling on. He stumbled upon OUR car, the exact same one, listed on autotrader as well as the dealerships website for $2500 less than what it was sold to us for! Feeling sick to his stomach, my husband could not sleep at all that night. The next day calling Steve to tell him what we had found. Since it was Sunday he said to call back on Monday when he could get a chance to talk to the sales manager. Upon driving the car on Sunday, I came to realize that while we were in the office doing our paperwork and the car was supposed to have been detailed, nothing was being done. I had to go out in the car the next morning and clean off the dash board, doors, and windows that were still covered with dust and cigarette ash from the previous owners. I think the only thing that was done was a brief vaccum and some air freshener. The car was filthy inside. On Monday we were told that a third party puts those vehicles on the website and they had made a mistake as well as 3 other vehicles too. When speaking to Steve, my husband pleaded with some sort of compensation or help of any kind. We were told that since the paperwork was signed and processed there was nothing they could do for us. They wouldn't be able to offer us any discounts on repair work, nothing! They just didn't seem to care. My husband told Steve that he felt that if we had stumbled upon that listing while we were in the office, he would have sold it to us for the lesser amount. Steve replied that he would not have given us that deal. We felt completely stupid and lied to. We are part of the military community here and have many friends coming and going who are always looking to buy. After our horrible experience here, we would never recommend our friends to do business at this dealership. More
Steve was awesome! He wasn't pushy and knew a lot about the vehicle I was purchasing. He was very busy with several other customers but he treated me as if I was the only one there. A great car buying experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I bought a White 2013 AWD Charger R/T with everything. I had a new exhaust, cold air intake and decals put in/on. I was traveling with my two brothers and a friend, from Chicago to Myrtle Beach, SC. My van broke down on Interstate 20, just outside of Columbia, SC. The staff worked with me to have my van serviced in Chicago to Myrtle Beach, SC. My van broke down on Interstate 20, just outside of Columbia, SC. The staff worked with me to have my van serviced in time for us to return home. They were courteous, compassionate, and communicated with me through every step of the repairs. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle, or service in the SC area. I only wish they were in Chicago, so that I could frequent their establishment. The fiance person (guy who did the paperwork) asked about an extended warranty. I said I was not interested. He started covering the plan. I said I was not interested. Again I said no. finally after asking him to quit wasting my time and his( In an agravated tone) he stopped. please respect it when someone says NO. Sales staff was very friendly and polite. Matt had a good working knowledge of his product. Questions he could not answer were quickly resolved. Overall a very good experience. fF More
Received friendly, dependable advice and the whole sales experience was great for my new van. Had a Caravan before and liked it; so wanted to get another van that would seat 7 people (bought a Town & Count experience was great for my new van. Had a Caravan before and liked it; so wanted to get another van that would seat 7 people (bought a Town & Country Stow & Go Van - wonderful vehicle). Went on a long trip and the Town & Country had great road ride and very good gas mileage (plus the kids enjoyed the built-in DVD player). This car made the trip so much easier on everyone. Thanks!! Went to dealership at the suggestion of another salesman at another dealership after we told him we were looking to replace a 12 year old Dodge Caravan. As soon as we arrived at the lot and walked in Scott shook my hand and greeted my wife and I to make us feel comfortable. Unlike normal dealers, the way he talked was genuine. He wasn't trying to blow my head up about the vehicle I wanted and make it out like something it wasn't. We took a ride in the vehicle and all went smooth. He showed me a couple cool features the car had but didn't make it out like something it wasn't. My daughter, who is 2 years old, was with us and she was tired of riding around and was just acting how 2 year olds do, but Scott was patient and understanding. The overall process took a little longer than expected but I think it's because they had a GM in training. Just before starting the paper work process, Scott tried to to help us to the best of his ability to get the price down some. We are from SC and our drivers license and insurance is in SC but we live in NC where we go to school. He was even trying to help us save even if it was a couple of dollars. I would recommend anyone going to the dealership to speak with Scott. More
