The lemon that he sold me had issues right from the start and of course Ken Smith had know interest in making things right. Purchased the car for $6,000 and had to spend $900 on a fan replacement, $950 on a power steering leak, and $1,000+ on transmission work. More

Bought a 2006 volvo s40 2.4i ended up having to spend over 7,000$ in repairs. The sun roof leaked terribly 300$ right there, then had to get the water sucked up from the carpets which were drenched and over 7,000$ in repairs. The sun roof leaked terribly 300$ right there, then had to get the water sucked up from the carpets which were drenched and stank another couple hundred. The wind shield wiper fluid motor was broken another 300$, the engine mount was cracked and broke 1 month in and crushed the axle and needed all new belts, a new axle and several other new parts. eventually it all added up to over 7,000$ in repairs for a 13,000$ car, they refused to pay for any of it, I had also bought the top of the line warranty they offered which conveniently covered nothing. Strongly recommend NOT buying from this dealer. More
I've been shopping for a decent used vehicle for several weeks, and I've shopped several private sellers to some major local dealerships. I found a car on the internet that interested me, and sinc several weeks, and I've shopped several private sellers to some major local dealerships. I found a car on the internet that interested me, and since it was close to where I live and work, I thought I'd stop by to check it out. Best decision I ever made! Both Ken and Dewey were extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle, and were very upfront about everything. Absolutely no pressure, and no gimmicks. They revealed everything known about the car, and priced it accordingly. I had the option to have them take care of everything, or discounted the price if I wanted to have the minor work done later. The car was everything I expected, and more. They did a great job of detailing the car, filled the tank, and had everything ready so the "paperwork" took a matter of a few minutes. I am well pleased with the car, the price I've paid, and most of all the attention, consideration, and service I received. I would highly recommend Carolina Cars to anyone and everyone who needs a good used car, and appreciates dealing with a couple of guys who know what they're doing, and are honest and fair in dealing with their customers. I just bought this car, and I will definitely buy my next vehicle from them. More
Labor Day 2012 - Bought a dark blue Volvo XC90. It broke down the next day. Paid dealer $200 to fix all repairs, it broke down the next day. Only option I had was to trade it in at this dealership. Bough down the next day. Paid dealer $200 to fix all repairs, it broke down the next day. Only option I had was to trade it in at this dealership. Bought a BMW X5. Had to pay $150 in repairs before driving it off the lot. Have since paid $1200 in repairs. It has been in my possession for two months. This dealer expects you to test drive and tell him what is wrong. He says he is fixing the problem and only puts a bandaid on the repair causing more problems after it is sold. More
