Then I found out after my 10 days was up that two of the items that we’re advertised to be on this vehicle or actually not installed. Then there was the title package, they sent it. FedEx did not send me a tracking number, the driver signed for it himself and it stayed out in the mailbox for a week and got wet, so after 18 days, I finally got it registered. More
My overall experience was good: I didn’t care for the emphasis on appointments as if car dealerships aren’t begging customers to come in… no no no you need an appointment… really ? Then I showed up in m emphasis on appointments as if car dealerships aren’t begging customers to come in… no no no you need an appointment… really ? Then I showed up in my 18wheeler and with no family or friends nearby I needed a ride back from a truckstop 5 miles away to drive my new vehicle away and the staff would not help. My purchase a 2022 Silverado is beautiful and I could not be happier It’s in great shape with no issues at all and I’m very proud to have it More
Poor customer service and they don’t consider what is best for the customer. I incurred an additional $2000 expense due to their poor communication and poor service. After this experience, I do not want to ever do business with carmax again. My experience at the Carmax in Mobile Alabama last year was 5 times better, though that may not be enough to ever consider this company again. More
Dealership reps were nice and easy to work with. I was frustrated with my trade deal. It was pre-approved and when I got to the dealership I was given $1000 less than originally offered. I was I was frustrated with my trade deal. It was pre-approved and when I got to the dealership I was given $1000 less than originally offered. I was told the deadline had ended the day before on the price lock but $1000 less in one day?!?!?! The vehicle I purchased had many more defects in the paint then shown on the website. I did like the no haggling and they let you drive the car alone without any pressure. That's a huge difference from a general dealership. My car I traded in was supposed to get paid off. But when I called after two weeks and still no payoff they said it takes 15 days so Im having to pay another note on the trade and suppose to get reimbursed. This is very inconvenient and wasn't clear when I bought from them. SO some pros and many cons. I am happy with the new car so that makes up for the frustration of the cons I guess. Was also nice that you can find the car that you want, and they will ship with a charge according to where the car is located. More
The first car I looked at was a Subaru cross track. It needed work a lot of work underneath so when I had to work done to it, I was out without it and paying payments on it for almost 3 months and ther It needed work a lot of work underneath so when I had to work done to it, I was out without it and paying payments on it for almost 3 months and there was no feedback from from Gulfport CarMax or from Kenner. We had to keep calling so finally they called and told me they could not find a motor from my car which they dropped the motor the new motor from my car so it was very frustrated so they brought it back and I ended up buying something else from them which the people in Gulfport, who took care of me on my new car were very nice to me More
