We took over two hours of Ivan's and his managers time, not because we were picky but that (being self-employed) I hadn't brought all of the financial documents that Ivan needed to get to put together an approval. We also had a trade-in which was fairly valued in our view. I'll give them a six but limited to five stars. Ivan had the patience for me to download everything he needed to make this sale work for us that day. The experience would make you think twice about why you would buy a car anywhere else in the future. More

However I did not return the car since I was very happy with the purchase thanks to the agent Michael who helped me make the right decision. I only came back the day after I bought the car because there were some scratches on the hood and carmax was trying to buff them out as good as it gets with no promise that they would be gone. It was dark when that was done and only the next day in the sun I saw they were still visuable. I was lucky to run into Michael and he said he'd try himself again to buff those remaining scratches out. When he brought the car back I was absolutely stunned, he worked magic they were all gone. Michael was super helpful throughout the entire process. He was the initial contact and he was the one convincing me to come back and buy at carmax, explaining their entire business model. He was also the one finalizing the sale. I was absolutely stunned by his knowledge of the Subaru I bought, after all carmax is selling all kinds of cars. He explained the car in detail and answered all my questions and for the rare case he wouldn't know he figured it out in no time. Same thing with the financing and max car explanations. His level of service was exceptional, he really went above and beyond, the best customer service someone can ever experience.
