Dealer personnel are unresponsive to a full price cash offer on a car in inventory. I must assume that they only want credit deals to make more money that way. offer on a car in inventory. I must assume that they only want credit deals to make more money that way. More

I’m willing to press charges to the full extent of the law and do my best to shut that dealership completely down. I’m a 47 year old male who has Imowned over 30 vehicles and it is by far the worst transaction experience I’ve had in my life. These people are terrible criminals. More

*EDIT* - Just went to have my tires changed (see rest of review) and my front passenger rim is cracked all the way through.. $1,400 for new rims. I was gonna give a 2 star because the people there were n review) and my front passenger rim is cracked all the way through.. $1,400 for new rims. I was gonna give a 2 star because the people there were nice and accommodating, but now it's a 1 star because of the cracked rim. That being said, I'll dive right in. I worked with Marvin, who seemed super cool. The only issue was, when I was texting him about the car I bought (2004 Corvette) I asked about three times if there were any issues with the car. All three of those texts went unanswered.. Finally I laid it out and told him I was thinking twice about buying because of the reviews I was reading and said that I felt there was gonna be issues with the car. He then FINALLY text back and said the car had no issues and was in great condition. Being that I was about to make a 3 hour drive from SC to Duluth GA, I wanted to make sure I would be buying the car when I got there. Upon arriving, they pull the car around for me to check out. First thing I notice is the broken passenger seat and the seat belt rendered useless. I say screw it and go for a test drive. The car drove great, except the driver dead pedal was broken, so it was almost uncomfortable to drive without a place to put my left foot. I also noticed the AC\Heat display was not working and the gear shifter had a lot of play when in drive. Along with all that, I noticed a loud sound from the rear tires (which I thought sounded like bad wheel bearings and I'm getting those checked out tomorrow). I pulled over into a parking lot and inspected the tires to find out that the rears were cracking pretty badly. Marvin did call his manager and they gave me $500 bucks off, which is crap (because he told me they get tires at cost, so my options were to take the $500 off and buy my own, or bring the car back to have them put them on, which I'm 3 hours away so that's not happening) because I ended up paying over $1,200 bucks for all new tires.. (Noticed when I got home that the front tires had 2 different brand tires on them with 2 different tread patterns!!) I still decided that these were easy things to fix and that I'd buy the car. After my purchase, (it had gotten dark) I turned the headlights off to drive home and the driver side didn't open.. So I had to drive home 3 hours in the dark with only one headlight! I had to stop for gas and upon arriving at the gas station and going to fill up, I noticed the gas cap wasn't even the right one for the car. The Corvette uses a two-prong cap that fits in and half turns to click. The gas cap on this car was threaded and wedged in, which also made the check engine light come on for EVAP issues. Also on the way home, the passenger headlight was literally flopping around and almost flew off, along with the tire pressure monitor sensor coming on. Upon inspection at home, the passenger headlight was being held on with an aftermarket screw that was screwed into a broken piece of plastic that acted as a nut. Also after my home inspection, I noticed the handle to remove the airfilter housing was broken, the mount for the heads up display is broken and can't be adjusted and just a week after owning it, the turn signals are now intermittent because of a hazard switch issue. Anyways, needless to say that when Marvin told me there was nothing wrong with the car, he lied. He said he didn't really even look at it that much until I got there which is completely what I was trying to avoid.. For a car with only 60k miles on it, it seems like it has been put through the ringer. I just hope the engine and tranny are in better shape than the rest of the car. Also it has new paint because I can see the overspray on the headlights, which leads me to believe the front end might have been damaged at one point since the headlights were messed up. Again, very nice people that work there, but just be extra cautious if you're considering buying a car from them. For the issues this car had, I feel as though the manager could have done a lot better than only offering $500 bucks off. More
