I saw an ad on both cargurus and carfax. It looked like a great car, they had just gotten it and were offering it at 10.5K. I decided to try to get it, and went to Carlux ftl. First off the It looked like a great car, they had just gotten it and were offering it at 10.5K. I decided to try to get it, and went to Carlux ftl. First off the price displayed is not the price. It includes a "trade in" (not mentioned in the ad)... Like seriously? I need to give you a car for me to get the advertised price? And this was on both carfax and cargurus. Bottom line, is if you want to buy a car there from an ad you see, expect to pay at least 3K more in dealer fees, doc fees, recondition fees, and fee fees. Its kind of ridiculous. So the out the door price was going to be around 15-16K for that car. Then they said.. Oh we just got the car and work needs to be done to it so we need to increase the price on top of that. Soooo... you got the car, and you post it with the price but its not the price because you havent looked at it yet and need to fix a bunch of stuff. I even offered to take it as is, at the advertised price with the tradein (hidden fee thing) and they just started spinning more silliness. Drove 30 min to get there so it was a waste of time. I prefer dealers whos prices match the reason you get there. I literally threatened to sue for false advertising. but they said.. Well if you try to purchase the car on cargurus then you will see the full price. So i tried it after I had left. And in order to get the actual price, you need to enter your social security number and a bunch of other stuff. NO MY FRIENDS THE PRICE IS NOT RIGHT THERE. Anyway, if you want to waste your time not getting what they advertise, go there. If you are happy to pay at LEAST $3000 in fees and other xx, go there. Then of course they tried to sell me another car that wasnt even an SUV i was looking for. We call that BAIT AND SWITCH. I will say they were very nice. So there is that. More
I scheduled an appt to see a specific vehicle for the following day to see that vehicle; a sales representative named Chelsea contacted me and left a voicemail and text message about the vehicle stating following day to see that vehicle; a sales representative named Chelsea contacted me and left a voicemail and text message about the vehicle stating it was available (it sold 3 days prior). I was also contacted the morning of to confirm our appt. My husband and I drove over an hour to meet with someone about that vehicle and when we got there we were notified by the general manager that it had sold the weekend prior. There is also nowhere to park in the back as it is stacked with purchase vehicles on its lot. You have to park on the grass in an alley in front of an apartment complex instead of an actual parking lot. Shady as it comes! Avoid the is business at all cost. More
My car was recently and I desperately needed a car but I did not want to get into car payments again. So the perfect used car was the answer which I’ve never had to do and felt really confused and intimidat did not want to get into car payments again. So the perfect used car was the answer which I’ve never had to do and felt really confused and intimidated. Looking for cars online began a barrage of texts with ads and offers. One of them was CarLux and it did pique my attention so I planned to go some day. Ironically I happened to turn around and go check it out even though I hadn’t received my insurance money. Just looking. Anthony showed me an Encore I loved but was above my budget. I went back when I had the cash ready to purchase something. David, a most polite, kind and patient young man showed me a few cards that could fall within my budget. When it was time to choose I was still set on the Encore. That’s when manager Lorenzo stepped in who had told me “when you have the money come back I’ll work with you.” Well he did… He worked on the numbers and came back with an offer that suited my needs and I drove off with my beautiful Buick Encore..!! Everyone there was attentive, patient. No pressure. And all assuring me I would be pleased with the outcome. I was there for quite a while since paperwork, tags and even connected me with insurance connections and found me a great policy and price. The whole day was a pleasant experience and I’d like to give a special mention Lorenzo, Anthony, David, Stefanie as well all others there who’s name I can’t remember but just as pleasant. In short I highly recommend you visit them when looking for a used car at a good price head to ok CARLUX in Ft Lauderale on US1. Thank you guys..!! More

Buyer BEWARE! ! WORST dealer we had visited in the past 2 days. Drove hours to see a vehicle for it to have BLOOD stains on the headliner, decided to look at anothe ! WORST dealer we had visited in the past 2 days. Drove hours to see a vehicle for it to have BLOOD stains on the headliner, decided to look at another vehicle on the lot when I opened the doors & it literally smelled like straight vomit! It was SO disgusting. My husband drove another car that was priced around $7200, He decided it was a decent car for our daughter (I personally did not think so, should had walked out when my gut told me to) My husband decided to sit down and see about financing since we were already pre approved through capital one for well over that amount. However, he had to fill out an application and was told to wait to see the finance manager. We did not know while we were waiting, they were banging his credit for DOUBLE what the asking price was. Stating they charge $2500 for the extended warranty they added to the car already which was the powertrain warranty from Kia, how can you charge for something that was already charged on the car when it was brand new? It only had like 17,000 miles left on that warranty anyhow. How does a dealer come up with $7,000-$8,000 in fees on top of the price of the vehicle?!?! Trying to get approval for almost $14,000 and that was with $1,000 down... xxx. They charged DOUBLE the fees than any other dealer we went to. WHAT A RIP OFF. We will be filing complaints with BBB, credit bureaus, etc. They are Scammers!!! BEWARE. Go elsewhere to buy your car. More
Called them around 7 p. m. Friday inquiring into a vehicle. Said I had my own bank for financing but needed numbers from them to present. Said they would call me back within m. Friday inquiring into a vehicle. Said I had my own bank for financing but needed numbers from them to present. Said they would call me back within a few minutes. I called them back at 7:30 p.m. they told me they closed early but 'Jackie' would call me first thing Saturday morning. I called them around 11 a.m. Saturday and this Jackie told me she would call me back within half an hour. I called them around 2-ish and was told they were really busy but I should hear back shortly. I then called back at around 4 or 4:30 and they receptionist told me to hold. When she came back she said Jackie said they were too busy and they would follow up with me Monday. I then did one last call at around 6:30 after I went ahead and actually made an appointment online and finally this Jackie picks up and says she will transfer the call to her desk. When she picks up she said the manager told her they closed early again. I ask her flat out if they just didn't want to sell me the car? She says that's not the case and the manager would send me the numbers right then. I asked her a follow-up question to which she said just look at the numbers and we can discuss that after. Needless to say they never sent the numbers. Like xxx is going on there? If I had gone into the location and was ready to buy a car would they tell me they're too busy and come back another day? Do they not want to make a sale? More
