Joel Johnson, sales consultant. is no longer there, but he provided excellent service. He did not badger me, but let me take plenty of time to decide whether or not to purchase a car. Did not pressure me to buy a car off the lot, but gave me an excellent price on ordering one from Germany. Carlton has delivered excellent service every time that I have taken it in. They had to keep car for over three days at one point due to computer issues, but provided a loaner C class. While everyone in service has been helpful, I have been especially impressed with David Knutti, service advisor. He always provides excellent service, takes time to discuss issues and makes sure everything gets done timely. Latest example is I recently sent him an e-mail about a phone issue and he called me within a couple of hours and gave me instructions on how to correct the problem. Without having to drive to dealership. Sammy Hood has also been very good, but primarily have worked with Mr. Knutti. Excellent service even though they know they will only see me once a year. As title says, I wish the car was as good as the dealership. It's a very good car and I really like it, but far too many issues for this class. Fortunately all of them have been repaired at no cost to me. Carlton service dept. has had a role in making that happen. Prices are high, but that is because of everything M-B wants done to the cars as "routine" services. Mr. Knutti and Carlton do what they can to keep prices down. Highly recommend Carlton and its service dept. More

One visit to Carlton Mercedes-Benz was all that was required to make it happen. Sean Deibert and Mr. Carlton were most helpful from our first test drive right to the signing of the final lease docs. First visit on a Monday, order placed on Tuesday, acquisition of the new vehicle by Thursday, and a short session to finalize delivery and receive helpful operating tips on Friday. Had planned to buy another Lexus (which I had loved for 11 years)--But Willie Fields was my Sales Representative and after hearing what I wanted, located a 2011 Mercedes exactly what I wanted and more in my car! He found it and had my authority to bring it to Greenville and pick it up within 3 days! He was helpful in every way---explaining the operation and even putting in my telephone numbers! I highly recommend him as a sales rep when you are in the market for a car. He made purchasing a car after my unfortunate accident a pleasure!! After decades of happy BMW driving, it was time to get another car -- my 5th, lifetime. For those keeping count, that's an average of over ten years per car. A relative insisted that I look at what Carlton offered. "OK, fine. But BMW seats fit me better than Mercedes seats," I protested. It turns out that Father still knows best. He directed me to Pablo Goycochea who suggested a C300 which was zippy and small enough to park easily. The prices were right -- car, trade-in, and extended warranty. Pablo was fantastic. He was knowledgeable (answering all of my questions, double-checking when appropriate), considerate (keeping me hydrated and supplied with salty crunchies), amusing (watching him multi-task is a revelation), and charming (the slightest hint of a bow when presenting a red rose to women entering the dealership). After the sale, he made sure that my phone was properly bluetoothed to the car. Mr. Carlton is a pip and his employees seem to be genuinely interested in providing everyone a good experience. I definitely recommend Carlton Motorcars. The C300 is nice, too. If only I could figure out how to swap the driver's seat from a BMW . . . . More

The car we purchased is almost three years old, but was detailed to the point of almost showroom condition. Buying a car can be an unpleasant experience, but not so at Carlton. I suspect we'll be back the next time we are in the market for a car. More
