Turned a negative review into a positive review Took car in previously for whining noise coming from Power Steering motor / transmission area, some warranty enhancement work on the sunroof, and dome Took car in previously for whining noise coming from Power Steering motor / transmission area, some warranty enhancement work on the sunroof, and dome light replacement. The first appointment did not go so well, as the whining noise issue was not resolved. The warranty enhancement work was performed on the sun roof and it has been working great. The dome light was taken care of on subsequent visit with only minor issues. However, on subsequent visit, I requested that the mechanic come on a ride along to demonstrate that there was a real issue with either the power steering motor or the transmission. Almost immediately into the ride, the mechanic concluded that there was an issue that warranted further investigation. He took the car back right away and began troubleshooting the car. Scott was very friendly, arranged a rental car for me, and took care of all the warranty paperwork. Turns out there was an internal failure of a part in the transmission, which was covered by my warranty. The mechanic and Scott had a remanufactured transmission ordered & replaced on my car within 2 days. Had my car back before the weekend. More
