Three months to fix a warranty issue and still not fixed WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT A GMC DEALER. On November 1st I exited my car and opened the back door while closing the front door. To my surprise, the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT A GMC DEALER. On November 1st I exited my car and opened the back door while closing the front door. To my surprise, the side trim on the back door collided with the front door, peeling back the chrome strip on the back door. I immediately called the Carl Black dealership to make an appointment to have someone look at the issue. On November 2nd I visited the dealership and met with Khari Young. He and the Service manager, Jimmy Wilson, looked at the car and agreed that it was a warranty issue and they would order the door trim parts, and call me once they were ready for installation. On closer inspection of the car, it was noted that the trim on the passenger side was defective and would need to also be replaced. Mr. Wilson said the parts would be ordered immediately, and sent to the paint shop for painting. It should be no more than a couple of weeks. On November 16th I called Khari Young to inquire about the status. I was told the parts were received and sent out for painting, and then discovered to be the wrong parts. I again was told that the correct parts were ordered and it should be only a couple of weeks for delivery and painting. At that time I also followed up with an email to Khari confirming our conversation. On the week before Christmas, around Dec. 22nd, I received phone mail from Khari advising that the parts were in and painted. I called Khari and advised that since it was near the holidays It would be after the new year before we could get the car in for the repair. On Jan 10th I took the car in for repair. To my surprise only the trim for the driver’s side had been ordered. To say I was somewhat frustrated would be an understatement. I was again reassured by Mr. Wilson that the missing parts would be ordered and I would receive a call to bring the car in. On February 5th, I took the car in for repair. I was told it should be ready in a couple of days. On Feb. 8th I received a call from Khari Young that the car would be ready by next day. On Friday morning, Feb. 9th, I received a call advising that the car would be ready later that day and I would be called when it was to be picked up. At around 2 pm I called the dealership and was told the car was ready. When I went to pick up the car, the repair on the driver’s side had been repaired, but I questioned if the passenger side had been repaired since it looked exactly like it did when I brought the car in on February 5th. I was assured that the passenger trim had been replaced. On the following day my wife was out shopping and as she placed some purchases in the back seat she found the newly painted trim for the passenger side laying on the floor. Obviously, I had been misinformed by the dealership. It was now over 3 months and I still didn't have a complete repair of the issue. Since that time I have emailed the general manager of the dealership and have not received a response. I was also sent a survey in which I detailed my experience and also have not received a response. I expect better treatment from GMC. More

Recently I started having problems with my touch screen & it wouldn’t work. I took my vehicle in to have it checked & they supposedly “re-programmed” it & then tried to make us pay for it even though they informed us in the beginning that everything was coverded. After talking to the manager he waived the fee and we left. However that night it stopped working again. I made yet another appointment to go back in to have it fixed again & asked to speak to our service advisor, Khari Young to discuss warranty info. After almost a WEEK of trying to reach him I finally was able to get a hold of him to discuss the warranty. He informed me at that time he would send the info into the warranty company for review to see if it would be covered. I called to check back in before we drove an hour to take our car in. They made me wait over 20 min. on the phone only to find out that he lied & they can’t send in the info to the warranty company until we bring in the vehicle to have a work order placed. I cancelled my appointment due to this. I will never buy from this dealership nor recommend them to any of my friends & family. More

This time my wife dropped our vehicle off at 8:30 A.m. only for me to have to call over and over. Finally called the service manager to get someone to call me back and my adviser (Tony) decided to call at 3P.m. to let me know that they can't even look at my car today or tomorrow and there are no loners. In that order. Truly shocked at the way that was handled and will never bring my business to them again. If they were over booked they shouldn't have taken the appointment. We were without a vehicle for 7hrs for no reason. Maybe time to clean house in the service department. More

Reliable I have now purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership in the past 4 years. The sales experience has always been very smooth and low pressure. I realize every car dealer is eager to sell a car, but not all of them are willing to take care of you after the sale. That"s where Carl Black sets themselves apart. The service department has been fantastic, I've never felt like they were trying to stick something to me. It's also nice when your service adviser recognizes you as you walk in. I recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle. More

The guy behind the desk said no problem where busy but we can get you in a loaner. I was like great. In a few hours they called me and had my vehicle fixed. Horrible HORRIBLE! Bought a 2014 Chevy Cruze last year and paid for the extended warranty. I brought my car in a couple days ago and informed them that the bat HORRIBLE! Bought a 2014 Chevy Cruze last year and paid for the extended warranty. I brought my car in a couple days ago and informed them that the battery was not turning over and there was corrosion on my positive cable. They told me the warranty didn't cover the battery or cable so it would be $400 to replace because they had to put another GM battery in the car despite the fact that there "GM" battery already in the car couldn't make it 18 months without leaking. After speaking with the service manager who was less than helpful, i took my car to a small shop by my house. low and behold "THEY CLEANED THE CORROSION" for $20 and VIOLA!!!! it worked beautiful. Carl Black tried to charge me 400!!!! for a battery and cable that had no issues! LIARS, CHEATS!! would not recommend to anyone! More
