Stranded - Carl Black unwilling to help I ended up with a flat tire on my morning commute and have been sitting on the side of the road for 2 plus hours now all because Carl Black of Orlando I ended up with a flat tire on my morning commute and have been sitting on the side of the road for 2 plus hours now all because Carl Black of Orlando lost my wheel lock key 5 weeks ago during a routine oil change & tire rotation. They are unwilling to bring me a universal key, unwilling to tow my vehicle there, and roadside assistance (both OnStar & Life 360) is legally not allowed to bust the wheel lock off my tire. UPDATE: After sitting on the side of 429 south for four hours (YES, I SAID FOUR HOURS) I decided to accept the “courtesy” 25 mile tow limit from General Motors and pay out of pocket for the remaining miles to get my vehicle back to Carl Black. This was after they decided they were unable to bring me a universal key lock, unsuccessful at convincing Don Mealey Chevrolet to accept my vehicle on their behalf, AND flat out told NO when they attempted the same at Danny Len Buick. I arrived at Carl Black Chevrolet via Lake County Tow at 2:48pm. No one there could provide a reasonable explanation, but assured me they’d get the spare tire on it and all the lug-nuts replaced and provide me with a matching lug-nut key as fast as humanly possible. I had already purchased a replacement 285/45/22 tire elsewhere (at this point, I’d lost all confidence in CB GMC). I needed to get there no later than 4:30 (9 minute drive time from Carl Black) to have the tire replaced TODAY. I relayed this to the service department and stressed the importance. At 4:32pm, they STILL had not finished with my car. At 5:02pm the service advisor walked over to hand me my keys. He was very apologetic, but unfortunately I was beyond frustrated and every word he uttered fell on deaf ears. I am flabbergasted at their lack of customer service skills and their inability to problem solve. We have purchased SIX vehicles from Carl Black over the last 4 years and have always been gracious, thus remaining loyal customers. But. All. That. Changed. Today. Taking way to long to fix problem. I have been to this service department 3 times with an engine light on and have yet to have it fixed. The first time I went the service associate put I have been to this service department 3 times with an engine light on and have yet to have it fixed. The first time I went the service associate put a diagnostic on it and said it was ok to drive but I would have to come back to have it fixed. I had made an appointment but that didn’t get my car in to get it repaired. I had to make another trip and I live about 25 miles away from this dealership. I made another appointment to come in and left my car for 4 days and nothing was done again. I had told them ahead of time that I needed my car back because I was going out of town. They had not even looked at it. I made another appointment and went back a third time. It was there a week and they never got the part in to fix it. I got my car back. I at least got a loaner to use both times. Now I am waiting to be seen again. I made another appointment because they now have the part. I made the appointment 1 1/2 weeks ahead of bringing it in but they now don’t have a loaner for me. I just bought this car new 8 months ago and also bought the extended warranty. Little good it is doing me. If I had to do it again I would not buy from this dealership. Very frustrated! More
Tried to fight me,and over charged Run from this place. They charged me $1,100 for changing a break line. After I told the manager that is insane he said we don't need your business. However after the insurance company got hold of them they changed and would not back up their original statement to me about how damage had occurred. They let the insurance company say how they thought it had occurred. the insurance company took nearly 2 months to get anywhere. And are trying to deny the claim. That's what they do! however the car was driving and functioning when I brought it in. After 2 months at the lot and having the insurance expert look at it, it no longer goes into park nor will it start. I was not told this when they told me to pick it up. And I had to rush and et it towed to a home. The tow truck driver said a kid at the lot said he drove it quite a bit and it always started he had no idea what happened. When I gt to the car and it didn't start I popped the hood to see the air filter sitting on top of the engine. As I reached for the air filter the hood fell on my head. The hood hinges where fine when I drove it in but now don't work. They also don't look right, they look really old. It seemed like they were using my car as a parts car as it sat there! Things that weren't wrong with it are now wrong! it will be sitting in FL as we have to go home to WA and not sure how or when we can return! They didn't seem to care much about us after the insurance adjusters and experts came by! I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy! I would not ever do business with them again! They are rude after they feel you are of no use as in not getting insurance money! I'm horrified that they made excuses as to how my car drove in but had to be towed out. They didn't care at all! I now have a non running corvette sitting in Fl Because Carl Black did something to it after I turned it over to them. I have a feeling they are not who they claim to be. I feel totally scammed! More

Darryl Driver, at the Service Department had me laughing from the jump. His banter with my son was hilarious. I was late for my appointment and he was able to squeeze me in. He gave me the information I needed and advised me accordingly. He was great. My sales agent John and Manager Hector were so attentive, knowledgeable, patient and cooperative. John had the best Hawian Shirt of the day. He should have won the award for best shirt. This experience was awesome. More

Yesterday, though, Sean Womer - Service Consultant - went the extra mile to ensure I received the best service ever. By clicking a couple of extra buttons that, honestly, I'm not sure other service individuals would have done, he discovered my car issues were all covered under 'extended warranty' and my out of the door cost was $0.00!!! That just does not happen! I want to comment Sean and the other service personnel that ensured 1st that I obtained a loaner vehicle and 2nd that my vehicle was repaired in record time. More
