Overcharged without approval I brought my car in for service, and during drop off I signed paperwork approving up to $100 of work, and was told that I would be contacted if the re I brought my car in for service, and during drop off I signed paperwork approving up to $100 of work, and was told that I would be contacted if the required services exceeded this amount. I later received a text with a quote that I found very overpriced, so I opted not to service my vehicle at this time. All of the communications for my car came through text which I found rather unprofessional, so I attempted to reach out by phone. I called the employee, Darryl, twice throughout the day with no response, and then called the dealership directly where I was told that he was unavailable and would reach out to me. Finally, with about 30 minutes until closing I decided to just go pick up my car because I had not heard back at all. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I was told the charges were $198, nearly double the approved amount. When I addressed this with the employee, he told me "I don't know what is going on in your personal life, but I can give you a 10% discount. You look like you need it". This was very unprofessional, rude and uncalled for. Ultimately, I was able to get my vehicle serviced at the Midas across the street for a third of the price and MUCH better customer service. More

Not very invested in their customers I did not have a great experience. A rental car was not offered initially even though my vehicle was under warranty and was going to take a few days f I did not have a great experience. A rental car was not offered initially even though my vehicle was under warranty and was going to take a few days fix. Once I was able to get a rental car they said I couldn’t go over 100miles a day in it (I need to for work) they said there was no way around this and we agreed they would have my car ready by Monday night and I would make arrangements to have the day off work to prevent too many miles. They would call me later that day with an update. No call thursday, no call Friday. I finally reached out they said they would call me back sat morning. No call sat, closed Sunday. No call Tuesday until 5:30pm to say it was ready and I have 24hrs to pick it up before I get charged for rental. I work all day and can’t pick it up until Thursday. More

3 Hour Oil Change I have no intention of returning to Carl Black for service let alone another purchase. I had two additional concerns and when mentioned them upon check in was dismissed and not addressed. More
