I would like to share the bad experience I am having with Carl Black Kennesaw. I bought a truck a few months ago and at 20,000 miles the engine light came on and the car started having problems. I had to go Carl Black Kennesaw. I bought a truck a few months ago and at 20,000 miles the engine light came on and the car started having problems. I had to go to the store with a tow truck and then my headache started (09/20/23). They registered my details and told me that it would take up to 7 days to give me a diagnostic, because I hadn't scheduled the service. As if I would guess that my car would turn on the engine light! Until today (09/27/23) I haven't even received a call or an email saying anything about my car. And this is my work car. I went to the store on 09/23/23 and they didn't pay me any attention, they just told me that the car hadn't yet been diagnostic. When you get there to buy a car, you are treated very well. But after the sale is made, the treatment changes completely. I do not recommend it to anyone, and I will certainly never do business with this store again. I've never felt so bad. It's been 7 days and no contact has been made yet. I've always liked Chevrolet, but after this experience, I'm going to switch to another brand! More
Service department is horrible! They told me I needed a new transmission for $8600. I took my vehicle to Aamco and they fixed my problem for $575.00. It was only a dented transmissi They told me I needed a new transmission for $8600. I took my vehicle to Aamco and they fixed my problem for $575.00. It was only a dented transmission oil pan. Carl Black GMC didn’t notice it and tried to get me to pay for a new transmission. Shame on you Andre in the service department. I won’t be back. More
Poor customer service and they the wait times are ridiculous I was told I couldn’t get a car wash with my oil change the guy told me they stop doing that 10 yrs ago I told him well my when my car was ridiculous I was told I couldn’t get a car wash with my oil change the guy told me they stop doing that 10 yrs ago I told him well my when my car was bought that was included he goes on to say well you would have to wait a couple of hours mins you I got to them at 8am didn’t leave until 12pm and no car wash cause at 11:45 I was ready to and they didn’t even start my car yet so I said give me my car this is the 3rd time this happened they do not want to honor what they said at the purchase the 2nd time I went to get oil change I tried again for my crash wash waited 2 1/2 hours and then the only rinsed it off they didn’t even do the inside they are rip offs More

My service visit today was awesome. Sean was great and really went out of his way to make sure that my problem was taken care of and all the proper paperwork submitted under my warranty. Took my GMC Sierra to Carl Black for recall, they repaired the recall and wrecked my truck. The service writer promised to order the parts and call me when they arrived, but he never called. I called the dealership and the service (Tom Jones) said he would let me know When a rental car was available. They finally scheduled time to repair my truck, kept the vehicle 2.5 weeks, gave my truck back and it’s not repaired. Called the service manager, but he will not return my call. I would not recommend Carl Black, for service, they are not reliable. More
My fiancé bought her Chevy from Carl black and she only received her oil changed from this articulate Kennesaw location. Last oil change she did started leaking, but we didn't notice it until recently when received her oil changed from this articulate Kennesaw location. Last oil change she did started leaking, but we didn't notice it until recently when it started leaving puddles. We moved to a different state so we took it to a different Chevy local dealer where we are and they found 2 warranty issues that are covered but the main concern with the oil change was that the last tech overtightened the bolt and it shot the bolt as well as left a crack in the oil pan. I called Carl black to explain what's happening and he said he'll speak to his boss and got back to me saying they are only going to cover parts of the fix they did wrong in the first place. My bill was a little over $500 and they are covering around $180 of parts. I just don't understand why a customer should be responsible of technician's fault of over tightening the bolt. Especially when the oil changes has been only performed at Carl black throughout the life of a vehicle. I am really hoping that Carl black management will make this situation right. More
