I went here on May 14 for routine maintenance on our CX30, and was assisted by Steve S. I have worked with him before and was very satisfied, and on this latest occasion, I was even more satisfied! I've been coming here since 2018 for service and each time I've come here, the service is always great. Very friendly and helpful. However this time, in particular, was so great, it really blew me awa time I've come here, the service is always great. Very friendly and helpful. Robert worked with me; I needed an alignment, all new tires, coolant, and brake flush so it was going to be a pricey service, or so I thought. Robert went above and beyond my expectations, got me a great deal on my tires saving me literally a few hundred dollars and when I picked up the car, he had it detailed for me - not just the standard car wash. He followed up when he said he would and was kind with each interaction. Can't say enough good things about this place. Also, thank you to Asia - She's amazing and kind and made sure to follow up with me to make sure I was happy. Thank you all. More
When you think of a Car Salesmen you automatically think of someone who is non-trustworthy and someone who is just trying to screw you over. Well if you go to CardinaleWay Mazda – Peoria that’s exactly what of someone who is non-trustworthy and someone who is just trying to screw you over. Well if you go to CardinaleWay Mazda – Peoria that’s exactly what you get!!! Not only did Paddy who was our Salesperson do that but she did it whit such charm and ease. From the moment we walked in there you could feel how desperately she was trying to just get us to sign the paperwork. She promised us 4 years of free maintenance services since they could noy negotiate on the price of the car itself, since “Mazda” does not offer that. They offered us to pay a big part of the down payment now and then another $150 2 weeks later. We ended up not getting a copy of any paperwork till the last payment was made. I drove to the dealership (35min) after speaking to Paddy and making the last down payment. After arriving at the dealership, I was informed that they could not give me the paperwork. Then Paddy said she would drop off the paperwork at my house and that never happened. I called and called and no on would ever call me back. I finally got a hold of someone that informed me that the paperwork was mailed. It never arrived. I finally drove to the dealership again. After waiting for over 30 min I was finally handed my contract for that car that I had bought almost a month ago. Sure, as xxxx did they no only lie about the 4 years free service but they added a $1250.00 fee on to the price of the car to get a service for 4 years. Now the last time I checked free means $0. When calling about this and trying to get this figured out they lied and lied and lied. Bottom line is they lied promised us a free service that never happened and smuggled and extra $1250.00 into my contract. DO NOT GO THERE AT ALL!!! Save your money and go to a better and honest dealership. More
This dealership is a joke, bought a 2017 Jeep Patriot and the extended warranty. 8 months later the CVT trans blew. They fixed it under warranty by replacing it with a reman trans. Get the car back and now it jumps forward between 60-80mph as if it's trying to shift but can't. Took it back, took the tech on a test drive WHO VERIFIED THE ISSUE!!! So I go talk to Lou who happens to be a slime ball snake. He has the audacity to say well there's no check engine light so we can't fix it. Are you joking!?!?! his advice was to drive it until it gets worse and then bring it back. Yea because that's safe. These guys are crooks and liars. I wouldn't trust them to put air in my tires. Spoke with the warranty company and now it's at Dodge where they are dropping the trans to see the extent of idiocy done at Mazda. This place is a pathetic excuse for a dealership. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB and reviews on every place possible. Stay far away from here if you want any work done. More
The best word I can use to describe my car buying experience through cardinale way is...UNBELIEVABLE!! We were treated better here than we are at a normal grocery store! Patti was so incredible. They told us we should have our cabin filter replaced because it was dirty. Little did they know we replaced it less then 24 hours before the oil change. For all of the good well the Mazda Corp is doing with the free oil changes these people lied and ruined Mazda’s good name. They claim to be a Christian Organization but I believe being honest is a Major principal in my Christian Faith! I also looked a Chevy Spark that was priced just right. The tried to add over $1,000 to the price for “reconditioning”. They claimed that every dealership does it but I know for a fact Avondale Nissan doesn’t charge it. Yet another lie by this “Christian Organization”. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy! More

Nothing like being disrespected, Lied To, and Told No Ok so I've had my car serviced at this dealership in the past. Once in fact. They did nearly 3k of work (under my car warranty) and it took a week a Ok so I've had my car serviced at this dealership in the past. Once in fact. They did nearly 3k of work (under my car warranty) and it took a week and I got my car back. Other than a extreme difficulty reaching people in the service department...I'm talking hours or days for responses with my advisor Zenas frequently being busy and unavailable to take calls or give updates. Anyway, it was an uneventful visit and I thought I'd try them again for the new service needs my same vehicle had. See there is no Mazda dealership where I live, which is 120 miles north of Phoenix, near Flagstaff. Plus, due to medical issues all of my credit cards are currently unusable. So I called 3 days ahead and scheduled a service appointment with Mario. I told him of my concerns and spoke to him twice to confirm that I needed a loaner car for my service visit and that due to the distance to this dealer I was taking the day of service off and could not rent a car. My issue began when I arrived for my 2pm appointment on Wed the 22nd of March 2017 2 hours early. I pulled up and was not greeted by anyone. There was a gentleman in the service lobby ahead of me being assisted by one employee. 10 minutes later the employee finished with the gentleman ahead of me and greeted me. After I began describing my issues with my car I asked if they could pull the loaner up next to my car so I could empty some things into it. That's when Mario told me they had no loaner car for me. So basically I drove down for 2.5 hours and took the day off work and now had no way to get home if I let them service my vehicle. I was upset and desribed that I had told Mario of my needs and that Mario had guaranteed me a loaner vehicle for this service. I could not understand why they didn't have one for me since he knew it was important and I booked the appointment days in advance. Mario got his manager. I do not recall his name, but he came up with an extremely unpleasant demeanor and told me that they did not have any laoner vehicles. The manager went on to describe that his dealership only has 5 loaners and that they were all taken already. I tried to ask why they didn't save one for me and was told that other customers were more important and that they only gave out loaners to those who spend $250 or more out of pocket for service. That the loaners were for special people and valued customers and that they would not consider giving me one, used or calling anywhere all. That no Mazda dealers provided loaner vehicles and he made it seem like it was an unreasonable request. I felt offended and unvalued and was BLOWN away by how he smiled at me after saying that. Mario the whole time had his head down and was standing silently next to me. I needed everything from brakes, rotars, alignment, oil change, and had multiple concerns about safety equiptment, engine idling issues, braking distances, tires, electrical issues....Basically thousands of dollars of work needed to my car. I was also wanting to shop their lot for a new Mazda CX-9 too. I was so frustrated with their lack of ownership of their mistakes. The manager even told me they had given the rental they had for me out to another customer that same morning. This has to be the poorest I've ever been treated by a service department at a dealership and I would highly recommend against getting anything done at the Peoria Carindaleway Mazda Dealership. I googled and found another Carindaleway Mazda in town by the way, in Mesa, AZ. I asked the manager and Mario to call them and see if they had loaners for me if I drove immediately there. They called and got me connected with Steve and I got on my way. Steve at the Mesa location not only took complete care of me, but got me a fully loaded mazda cx-9 to use as a loaner, since I was thinking of buying one. I had an in-depth wonderful experience at the Mesa Mazda dealership and wonder why the Peoria location made me drive 55 minutes out of my way, in the wrong direction, delayed me hours for my day and really treated me terrible. DO NOT BUY USED OR ANY "WARRANTY/MAINTANCE" CONTRACT . The b.s. maintenance contract i was tricked into only covers four (4) oil changes and four (4) tire rotations per year up to 24k miles or 24 months . Seriously......a xxxxxx could do those in their sleep. This "family" dealer refuses to call the dealership purchased at in CA. Lied about how bad an item was damaged and said it NEEDED to be repaired immediately. I was told it was a MAJOR radiator leak when all it had was a small drip. Then after its "fixed" i get about 10 min from the dealer and the lower radiator hose comes off on the freeway, truck starts to overheat and I'm out 80 min of my time and two extra trips. I also had to pay half of a radiator after owning the truck for a little over 3 weeks. After this part had to be fixed a 2nd time...they didn't wash the greasy mechanic hands back off the hood of the truck after checking it on the freeway. When i purchased the truck i was told it could go to ANY CardinaleWay Mazda for service and this dealer thinks everyone is car dumb and has no idea what's going on. Truck has a louder idle after they touched it and won't look again unless i pay. They also flat out refused to call the Corona, CA location to see what, if anything can be done about the A/C Fan blower motor that is already defective after only 2 months of that part installed. From explination from the CA dealer, they order parts for cars from a 3rd party (like most shops do..i would think like NAPA) but they don't cross warranty with there "family" dealership and if Peoria mazda wont play ball then i need to drive 6 hours to CA and 6 hours back home, plus the $100 in fuel, and find the time to take off work to spend money on fuel for a $55 part. Hope CA gets this last item taken care of here because this will be the VERY last service my truck gets at this dealer and the last time I deal with any type of Mazda dealer. Service this way turns people away from even wanting a new vehicle from this kind of dealer. More

I own several vehicles and I take my Volvo to the Volvo garage. My Ford to a Ford garage. The VW I bought from them I took to a VW garage for service, but when my factory warranty expired they scanned the priblem with in minutes. It took a serveral days before this dealership could do that and get the warranty. They don't say anything about that until its needed. My two sons in their 20's were in the room when they sold me the warranty. Nothing was said about this clause..... Now I've taken my car in twice, and both times this in house warranty takes days to even get approval before they do the warranty work.... Avoid this dishonest dealership from California doing business in the Phoenix area. The practice of not disclosing this about about the warranty is FRAUD... Again, do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership. Mark Widick More
