Good sales staff tainted by overzealous finance manager Purchased a vehicle through them a few weeks ago, David Schmidig and the sales staff were good and kept the back and forth negotiating to a minimum. I Purchased a vehicle through them a few weeks ago, David Schmidig and the sales staff were good and kept the back and forth negotiating to a minimum. It wasn't until going to the Finance Manager's office, another David, that things went south for the experience. While he was pleasant at the start, he became pushy and confrontational after I had explained multiple times that I didn't want to purchase any of the maintenance addons, even going so far as to question my thought process on why I didn't believe an addon was worth the value. This was after I had explicitly told him I didn't want to talk about why I wasn't purchasing the addons, multiple times. I had to threaten to leave for him to move on in the conversation and continue the paperwork on the new vehicle. Then, I was upset about how one of the charges had been left off of the initial negotiation, which seemed disingenuous, he proceeded to yell at me as I was off to speak to the Sales Manager, and caused a scene in front of the sales floor. Extremely unprofessional, and frankly the guy acted like he was child and pouted as we finished the paperwork after the Sales Manager rectified the situation. I certainly won't be recommending CardinaleWay to other military members, my wife and I had a much better experience purchasing her Mazda from Earnhardt last year. I regret not going there for this purchase. More
