Fly In Drive Out I purchased a 2008 911 from Carbine Motorcars in April. I live in Crown Point Indiana, which is a suburb of Chicago just under one thousand miles awa I purchased a 2008 911 from Carbine Motorcars in April. I live in Crown Point Indiana, which is a suburb of Chicago just under one thousand miles away from New Orleans. I found the car online and really liked the Carrera red interior with the Basalt Black exterior. It was different than any of the combinations I had seen up here. I first made contact with Jenna who then put me in touch with Chris Carbine the owner of the dealership. He was very honest about the fact that the car was not perfect and the bumper covers had blemishes on them but that the car was mechanically sound. He took many detailed pictures of the car and sent them to me along with scans of the service records and car fax. Finally we did a Face Time walk around and he pointed out imperfections. I was comfortable with a few cosmetic imperfections as I plan on driving the car regularly. A few days later we worked out a price based on the car being as he represented it. I booked a flight from Chicago Midway to New Orleans on Southwest at a good price and he helped me locate a hotel in the Garden District close to the dealership. When I arrived, Chris Picked me up in the 911 as I requested and I drove it from the Airport to the hotel, a drive that involved interstate driving, stop and go traffic, city driving and long periods idling at stop lights. The car was exactly as described and I bought it after the test drive. He had all of the paper work ready to go including a temp tag. In addition to getting a great 911, Chris took me to an amazing restaurant called Frankie & Johnny’s for some of the best local food imaginable and then was my tour guide for a really cool tour of the Garden District. I have been to New Orleans many times but I learned way more about it in this one trip. The next day the excitement got the better of me and I woke up early to start my journey home. It was a dream come true to drive a 911 a thousand miles in one day. Dealing with Carbine Motorcars was a pleasure. The staff was genuine and I found Chris Carbine to be honest and sincere. He really enjoys the cars and sharing them with like-minded enthusiasts. I would definitely do business with them again and would recommend them to anyone. More

All of a sudden Chris Carbine and i must have been in the same wave length because that Friday he listed my car but it was late and the dealer was closed so I sent an email. The next day (Saturday) Im in college courses and waiting for the time for the dealership to open so I can call and hope that the car is still available mind you I'm in South Carolina and the car is in New Orleans so I couldn't just go see the car. From that first time Chris and I talked he made me feel like I was buying a car from a friend. Very knowledgeable about the car and just had a huge service done to the car in a local Porsche shop. (already feeling good about the car). skip to Monday wen I called to talk to the owner and the person that worked on the car and pretty much went thru the entire car with me over the phone. Chris and his team have been tremendous to the entire deal, I had my car delivered to my front door (really cheap and in an enclosed trailer) within the week.
