I recently had one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever encountered at a car dealership. I came in already approved for the vehicle, and when I arrived, the car even had a “Sold” sign with my nam I’ve ever encountered at a car dealership. I came in already approved for the vehicle, and when I arrived, the car even had a “Sold” sign with my name on it. My daughter, who lives with me and is on the same insurance policy, also came along to purchase the car using her own pay stubs and financial information — everything was handled honestly and transparently. Instead of being treated with professionalism, we were wrongfully accused of attempting a straw purchase simply because we share the same address and insurance. That accusation was completely false and offensive. To make matters worse, Dean, the sales manager, approached us with a nasty and unprofessional attitude. He didn’t take the time to explain anything or ask questions — he immediately jumped to accusations without any evidence or understanding of the situation. His behavior was rude, disrespectful, and completely out of line for someone in a management position. As a police officer with 30 years of service, I have always valued honesty, integrity, and proper procedure. I know exactly what a straw purchase is, and this situation was absolutely not one. To be treated as if I were doing something illegal was not only insulting but deeply unprofessional. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this dealership. No customer — especially one who comes prepared, approved, and transparent — should ever be treated this way. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business here to think twice. If I was able to give them no stars I would! More
