We drove two cars, and the first one was a total flop. It reeked of smoke and was not as clean as advertised. We went specifically for this car so I was a little disappointed our sales person JP didn’t wa It reeked of smoke and was not as clean as advertised. We went specifically for this car so I was a little disappointed our sales person JP didn’t warn us in advance or push us to a later time or day to have the car cleaned up a little better. However, JP understood the dilemma and immediately put us in a Lincoln Nautilus to test drive, which we both loved, and ended up leaving with. Ultimately, this was the route we were planning on going, and the first car we drove was stepping outside of our comfort zone of Lincoln and thus it ended up working out perfectly for us, as the Nautilus was perfect. The only downside I really felt from the experience was that the communication felt a little lacking, both on the part of the stinky first car, and the fact that we were limited to a $1,000 downpayment by card only, since the dealer eats the service fees, as we were informed. This feels like a bad business tactic that affects the consumer, there are ways for the dealer to price slightly higher to accommodate for this, or for them to realize the equity through a sale they could make by accepting larger payments via card, as some people will choose to shop somewhere that accommodates their payment method a little better. Overall, having worked at 5 different dealers myself, I would still recommend JP and Carshop to anyone looking for a new or pre-owned vehicle, 4 well earned stars out of 5! More
