Poor Workmanship and Customer Service The car purchasing experience approximately one year ago was pleasant and generally positive, returning for a state inspection was horrible and poten The car purchasing experience approximately one year ago was pleasant and generally positive, returning for a state inspection was horrible and potentially dangerous.My wife took the car in for inspection, she was informed that it had failed due to front brake pads and rotors. I had looked at the pads prior to setting the appointment and had not found them to be under minimum specifications. To the mechanic's credit when I took the front brakes apart the inboard face of the rotors was damaged below state safety limits. After being given an estimate for the work my wife advised the technician that I would change the brake pads and rotors and bring the car back for inspection. On her way home the car was driving erratically and making a loud thumping noise. My wife called me and asked what to do. I advised if she was closer to our home she should continue there. She called Car Sense, and was on the phone with them as she turned into the driveway. The car made a loud bang as she pulled in.It was enough of a noise that the Car Sense employee exclaimed " What was that.... are you alright. Upon arriving home I immediately began to check the car. I found that the source of the problem was that all four (4) lug nuts on the right rear wheel were finger tight. Upon checking the rest of the wheels one (1) of the lug nuts on the right rear wheel was also only hand tight. I immediately called Car Sense to advice the Service Manager at what I found. He was less than apologetic. Can you imagine what would have happened if that wheel would have come off while driving! To add insult to the situation when my wife took the car back for re- inspection despite knowing what had happened no even mentioned the incident or gave my wife the courtesy of of a personal apology. If fact the technician working on the car was down right rude to her. Needless to say Car Sense has forever lost my business in any capacity . I would advise everyone to avoid this business. More

Wasted trip for service I had a good experience buying my BMW at Carsense, however very bad experience with service. I called saying that a light had come on saying that my I had a good experience buying my BMW at Carsense, however very bad experience with service. I called saying that a light had come on saying that my All Wheel drive needed to be serviced.. I called to schedule appointment for that purpose. Upon arrival I was told that they can not do that work. So why schedule the appointment and have me give up a morning to come out here? Ok, so at least they can do an inspection. After an hour and a half I was told it could not pass the inspection because the light was on saying that there is trouble with the all wheel drive! All in all a waste of a morning and I do not have that kind of time to waste. More

They use some other service not car fax & say it is better. Told them I needed a car fax. Had much more information than their report. Was in need of a vehicle and they had one that was almost what I wanted. Would not go back if I had more time. They just try to push their own extended warranty plan. The very inexperienced sales guy gave me several incorrect pieces of information. One was the date when the factory warranty would expire. He did not check. Acted like he knew it. He was wrong. Pushing their warranty. Also he left when he was talking to me because he wanted to talk to other customers. The sales mgr told me he was too busy to take care of my paperwork. So handed it off to someone else. It's your call. Pays to check around. More

I AM ONE VERY HAPPY PERSON!!! This was my 1st experience going solo. My husband normally talked with the dealer on car purchases, but I am recently in the process of getting divorc This was my 1st experience going solo. My husband normally talked with the dealer on car purchases, but I am recently in the process of getting divorced and had to start making my own decisions. The staff at CarSense was AWESOME!!! They went above and beyond to help me. I ended up purchasing a 2013 Altima and I love the fact I made the decision on my own! Jesse McCain was so patient as I had him running all over the place when I asked to test drive different cars and I always came back to the Altima! My niece is also looking at a Jeep and Jesse had someone drive over an hour away to get 1 she wanted and bring it back to where we were. That my friends is GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE in my book! We are the 6th & 7th people in our families to purchase from CarSense and I would most definitly recommend anyone & everyone to purchase from CarSense. Go in, as for Jesse McClain and tell him I sent you~~ you won't regret it! More
I brought my 2008 Chevy Silverado in for an oil change .I was there I mentioned that the moldings on the passenger side doors was peeling off and could they fix this problem before they fall completely off. was there I mentioned that the moldings on the passenger side doors was peeling off and could they fix this problem before they fall completely off. After waiting for a while my vehicle was ready and the service desk informed me that the problems with the moldings was not covered under warranty. I don't under stand this policy ? When I purchased the truck I paid more than I would have for a base model but not all of the options are under warranty. I have never had this problem with any vehicle I have ever owned that was under a bumper to bumper warranty . These moldings are located between the 2 bumpers. You state that the tire pressures are all checked when you get an oil change and the fluids are all toped off. I purchased a synthetic oil change to the tune of $73.00 Before I arrived at Carsense that day my tire pressure information monitor came on and indicated that my left front tire was low . Knowing that I was stopping in for an oil change and that the tire pressure is part of that service I left it go . Well after the oil and paying the $73.00 bill I got 2 miles from dealership and my tire pressure indicator came on to inform me my tire was still low. No one ever checked the tire pressure in any of the 4 tires . Although I paid for that service and did not receive it ! NOT IMPRESSED SO FAR WITH SERVICE . The gentleman ay the desk and the cashier were very polite and a pleasure to deal with . the quality of service left much to be desired ! More
My wife and I had an AWESOME experience at CarSense, even with our already bored 3 year old son. Jamie understood our situation and put us in exactly what we wanted at the price we wanted. This was my first buying experience. My husband usually talks the deals with car purchases. I was completely comfortable working with the Car Sense staff. I felt the staff to be upfront with all of my questions and inquiries. I test drove several vechiles making the sales associate run all around the lot. I could not make a decision and the sales team did not push me into making a "snap" decision. I have been back to the dealership for a key issue and was taken care of immediately. The waiting area for service if VERY comfortable. I have never been this happy with any purchase I have made. I was excited to tells others about my experience at Car Sense and encouraged family member to go there for their next auto purchase. More
