Overall good experience. I liked the ability to search on the exact car I wanted with alerts and no haggling. The one frustrating part of the experience was that every time I visited my local CarMax which was about four times (and a couple of phone calls), I had to deal with a new person who was not up to speed on what happened the last time I was in, so one step forward and two steps back to get back to where I left off. I understand that this is part of the way CarMax works, so just be prepared you won't always have the same person or even be able to get them on the phone. However, everyone was professional, nice and eager to help. One other slightly frustrating part was that financing outside of CarMax was a little bumpy in the paperwork. Don't let that deter you, it was definitely worth the research and a little extra time. I am thrilled with my purchase and after considering and dealing with a different auto dealer in the same search, CarMax won out. More
