I have puchased 5 vehicles from this dealership but the last purchase was the most challenging. Usually my journey is about 1 week from start to finish. On my last purchase I didn't get much help this time. It took about a month even though I was prequalified with no issues. The salesman didn't follow up with me and I had to go to another location on the other side of town to get some assistance. That person was outstanding and really cared about making sure I was satisfied and got what I was looking for. I was so discoraged and he could see why. He encouraged me to work with the team at the original location and give them a chance so I did. Finally after a month I had the vehicle I had chosen delivered. They couldn't find it at the lot because of a paperwork mix up. I waited 3 hours and then they found it. I got to see it for the first time but wasn't allowed to drive it because it hadn't been check out by the shop yet. I know vehicles get an inspection before putting it up for sale and putting it on the lot so I couldn't understand why I couldn't drive it. So I waited a couple more days later. Finally the vehicle had its 125 point inspection I make the purchase transaction with a little less than half down and I get the keys. Shame on me for trusting the inspection was good. I drive the vehicle home about 18 miles away and the chek engine light comes on, then the sound wouldn't come out of the speakers and I can see a dent in the roof probably from transport! I returned the vehicle to the dealership in 2 1/2 hours. Now I'm given a loaner and its taken another 3 weeks. I had the vehicle for less than 3 hours! Mind you I put down 20K and the vehicle is almost 50K! I'm being generous with my score because of my previous experiences with Carmax. I would ask please don't let your level of service tank and be indistinguishable from dealerships that don't see the benefits of taking good care of the customer. Sloppines is unacceptable and whatever you walk by is what you accept! More

If you are going to go to the CarMax on 1-45 North, I recommend you ask for Mrs. Renee. She was the most informative and communicative by far. When I initially went there to look for a car I was working with another salesman. Then I wasn’t for certain because he just left me to take matters into my own hands, which made me look elsewhere. The second time I came I met Mrs. Renee, she went out her way to help me find the car of my dreams. She even went into my old account and cleared up some issues I had dealing with CarMax 8years ago. She’s very knowledgeable and even on her off days work due diligently to make sure I drove away in my vehicle. If I could give her a million stars I absolutely would. Thank you Mrs. Renee More
