Bought my third car from Carmax; within a 7 month timeframe. This time I worked with Micheal. He was great; very friendly. However, third car with issues. This time I purchased a 2025 Nissan Kicks. H timeframe. This time I worked with Micheal. He was great; very friendly. However, third car with issues. This time I purchased a 2025 Nissan Kicks. Has been in an accident. Car has some pretty serious issues. Carmax said, “no problem, we’ll fix them.” Bring the car in to have them fixed and suddenly the car has no issues. Huh. Go figure. Carmax, reading the reviews, and from personal experience, does not do a good job with following through on their words once the car is bought. Not to mention, they ALWAYS send cars off to the dealer to be fixed; which takes even more time. Carmax also only fixes issues that are covered under warranty; which Carmax makes one believe that ANY AND ALL issues will be taken care of which is stated during the purchase; which isn’t true. Not sure why my car needs to go to a dealer for a second opinion if Carmax believes there’s nothing wrong with it! Make it make sense! Oh, yeah! I was told my car was detailed but the inside was still very dirty; especially the ceiling. More
