Poor post sales support. Was told by sales person that I could obtain a second key for my vehicle through CarMax. Kept getting the run around from the sales person. Called corporate, was told had to go to dealership, then told to try an online link they sent me. Link was not good. Went back to CarMax dealership. Was sent to the service dept, then parts. Parts couldn't order. Was told a sales manager would get back. NO ONE has called me back or tried to contact me. Still NO second key. Filed formal complaint with FTC and Texas Attorney General's Office Consumer Affairs Division. More

This is the best car buying experience I've ever had. The original vehicle I purchased broke down on me on the road at night. The dealership purchased the vehicle back and sold me another one. We have been purchasing cars from Carmax for 15+ years and have been happy with the cars and services. That all changed with the car we recently bought, where our trust in Carmax was shattered. Eleven and have been happy with the cars and services. That all changed with the car we recently bought, where our trust in Carmax was shattered. Eleven days after buying a no accident car, we took the car in for new tires. As part of that process, we found out that the right front fender had been repaired and repainted. This information was not disclosed to us by Carmax, and the car's pricing was based on this being a no-accident car. We do not feel that Carmax is a trustworthy place to purchase a car anymore, and is just like other stereotypic used car dealers where "buyer beware" has to be even more top of mind as you can't trust that you are getting all information. More
