When I purchased my 2021 Suburban, it was not cleaned, just barely wiped down. The whole hood in the center was dirty and you could see the marks where someone did not even soap it, and the inside was no just barely wiped down. The Best person I worked with was Mathew Jaureguy. He should be at a better dealer as he is a talented salesperson and did a ton of great work on the sales side for me and spent hours trying to get the bank to complete the underwriting. On the consignment side I was offered 32980 through the manager when I test drove the new vehicle. This was more than the 31285.00 I was offered through their online email estimate. We could not consign it right away since her tags were expired. When We returned 2 weeks later the Salesperson Josh said they would offer 21k on consignment when my wife brought it in. After my wife stated that we were offered more, he asked how much and after she said around 31 then miraculously Josh said oh yeah, I see that, I guess I was only 10k off. Amazing how that worked in their favor and he acted like it was 10 Dollars. In the end The market supposedly dropped 1k in 15 days on my consignment estimate. I was still going to do it but He then goes to tell me that they have to change the oil, even though the dealership just did it less than 3 months ago. He said the oil has to be done within 30 days, also the vehicle needs a full tank and they could do that for a 15% convenience fee. I told him they don't practice what they preach since my Suburban I purchased had less than an 1/8 tank of fuel when I bought it, the oil sticker says 2/22 on it and it was dirty inside and out. So since it is 75.00 for them to do an oil change I asked them to do the oil change and fill it up and we would consign it as a trade off since they did not fill my suburban, it still comes out in their favor. They said they could not do that but would offer me a gift card, so we left without even an apology for the way my vehicle was delivered. Consigning your vehicle here is shady especially if you are an unsuspecting female. I rather list my own vehicle and will not be buying another vehicle from Carlotz. I had to fill and detail my purchased vehicle, but have to provide it completed for them to sell, That's ironic. More

Their word means nothing We called about a particular car and were given an appointment to come and see it. We left immediately and drove 45 minutes (40 miles) to get there. We were told the car would be driven to the front and waiting for us. When we got there, the car was at the front as promised. We went in and said we were the ones who called to look at that car. The guy said, "There's another couple looking at it now." I said, "We were asked to make an appointment and told that it would be at the front for us. We drove 45 minutes to get here!" He said, "Well, that happens sometimes when people walk in after you call." Really? Then what is an appointment?? I asked him to call me and let me know after they decided. We left and got coffee, drove through other lots and waited. He never called. I finally called back and was told that it sold. VERY poor way of doing business. I wouldn't have a car from this place if they gave it to me. I don't do business with people who do not honor their word and treat customers this way. No respect for us nor for our time. Never again.
