The first time I test drove the car the check engine light came on, the trunk release wouldn't work, the drivers side mirror was broken and the interior roof, floor and seats were dirty and covered in stains. I didn't buy the car that day but the dealer assured me that all of the things would be fixed by the next weekend. The next test drive went smoothly, the check engine light was off, the trunk latch worked, some of the stains were removed and they notified me that they ordered a new mirror. The very next day the check engine light came back on and things went downhill from there. Long story short, I ended up having to pay for a new head gasket, new O2 sensor, new timing belts, and I will have to buy a new exhaust system because the current one is rusted out. Along with these things, I also end up buying the replacement car mirror (because theirs never showed up), a new cup holder and I will have to purchase new tires because there are three different brands of tires on the car (all leaking). I also found that a decent amount of water was pooled in the truck of the car underneath the spare tire and behind the side linings. I purchased the car for around $8,400 (plus tax) and so far have had to pay around $2,300 in repairs. Very dishonest dealership. Avoid at all cost. More

My son was looking for car and came across Car Xpress. He insisted he wanted this 2003 mustang despite the opposition from both me and his brother. The down payment was my truck and some cash. Not long after he got the car (which left the lot with no inspection stickers..clue 1) the car kept stalling and shutting off. He had a local mechanic due a safety check and redo the entire battery wiring system and replace the battery. During the safety check, he said the oil had not been changed for like 13000 miles and was like tar. After about a month, the domino effect started happening. The alternator went. That was repaired. Then the starter went. That was repaired. Then the heater core went. That has not been repaired because it is like 900 to fix. If you call the warranty company, the opposite part is always covered not the broke one. Then after all this, I was driving the car and I heard pop and could not move. The drivers side ball joint broke. After a 75 dollar tow, that was fixed. As we speak, the passenger side is now being fixed less than a month later because it started squealing. Don't feel like being stranded again. A few months back, I called and explained all the issues with this car and asked for a different car since this one is not road worthy and he cant afford the payment and a repair every month and after 3 days and numerous calls..I was told NO. I emailed them last night and told them thanks for selling A PIECE OF CRAP WITH A HIGH PAYMENT AND A CRAPPY WARRANTY. I will NEVER RECOMMEND.or BUY another car from them again. Buyers beware. It is a costly scam. More

I dealt with Don on this deal...I was looking for a vehicle for my children and I (a single mom), Don assured me this vehicle was in great shape as he was currently driving this vehicle. He told me this vehicle had been inspected and was ready to go...the navigation knob was broken Don promised to locate a replacement and never did, he played phone take with me and when I did get in contact with him he asked me to bring it back to the lot, only not to ba able to leave it. We spoke and schedule another time to bring it out in which I was told he did some kinda flush but that he still didn't think they had fixed what was wrong with the truck (it was stopping/stalling out while I was driving)...I picked up my car and it drove fine for a week, then while on my way to work it stalled out on me again, it took me 30mminutes to get back home and ready ourselves for the morning bus ride...i called Don that same day, he wsn't in that day, I asked for a retrun call. Don hadn't called before I called him again, told me to take it somewhere else ...only to find they couldn't fix it. I called Don told him, he told me to call him back as his mechanic was out at the time, was told to call back after lunch. I did, only to be told Don was busy and needed to call me back (I left my number) no call back...on the way home the ETC light started flashing and the car started to rumble and started to perform different slow choky pausing and so on...I called Don the next day, again I was told to call back after lunch in which I did. was told to call back, I refused and insisted that I would hold on...when i finally spoke to Don, he told me that he could look at my car six days later at a cost...I mentioned that this was something we were trying to fixing for sometime, he told me he owed me nothing and that the car was mine...he told me there was no reason for him to eat the cost... Please be aware this place pushes alot of cars but has a hard time standing behind these cars...I have a car that I can't drice right now and will probably cost me bundles to get fixed... Don is a fast talking guy, please stay away from this lot... More

Had no CD player in the car when I got it, again... multiple calls before going in to deal with them. They don't like to return calls and they aren't what I would consider "friendly" people at all. This dealer is ok if you deal with Mike C. only. Don was the one who sold me the car and he wasn't honest at all about the car condition. It was a very good running car but Don did something to underneath that left all these rust colered bumps that wont go away. I am stuck with the expense of the bodywork because he was not honest and $200 for the oil pan gasket. I paid KBB price. Dont deal with Don!!!! More

Don worked a special deal for a 2005 chevrolet uplander in June 2007. The advertised price was 12999, however we were told that was the "cash" price. the real price was 15999. we needed a van and my wif in June 2007. Don would not let us test drive the vehicle, however it did have current pa inspection stickers in the window. well...with in 3 days we had to have all 4 rotors and brakes replaced. the tech that did it had no idea how it passed inspection. i took the 800 repair bill back to the dealer and Don said he would talk to the owner. i called and stopped twice a week asking for a solution, Don kept putting me off. eventually i stopped wasting my time. well, that is when the wheel barrings on both front wheels went bad...1400 repair bill. again, it happens, but they should have never passed the inspection. inbetween requests for the 800 (i never asked for the 1400 back) i repeatedly asked for copies of our finance papers. i was always told that they are kept off site and they would be mailed to me. well here it is 9 months later and NOTHING!!! Don is a liar and car xpress is a rip off. buyers beware!!! dont fall into there trap. More
