Disappointment this time having service I already did a review after my service appointment but this time the service advisor was mediocre not like Steven Gonzales. My service was an oil cha I already did a review after my service appointment but this time the service advisor was mediocre not like Steven Gonzales. My service was an oil change that was part of my leasing plan and incentive and I felt that I was a burden with the advisor because I said that I was not happy with the way the 8 speed transmission was not downshifting quick quick enough driving around town which was causing a lag when the gas is applied after a stop it would tend to squeal the tires. I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment and while going outside to wait I saw my RAM go at a very fast speed up the road towards Secor Subaru for a road test. By 15 minutes past 9am the hour of my appointment my oil change was done when in the past it was an hour at least without a road test. I was told there was nothing wrong with the transmission and that's how it works and that I only had one more oil change on my plan. It was like he was insulted that I came in and had an oil change plan with several no charge oil changes. It seemed that he was missing out on a commission by not being able to charge me for many things and the faster he got me out the better for him to get to the next customer who had to pay for lots of service. I don't believe that there was a safety check done in this short time let alone check tire tread wear. I enjoy working with Al Morse and Steven Gonzales but I have to say that my first RAM was from Old Saybrook CDJR and I had the same type service plan on my 2016 RAM and I would get a comprehensive inspection sheet outlining all that was done at every service and they would even wash my RAM. Total satisfaction and Efram the service manager was always spot on and I knew they cared what they did. I have to say that after this last service I'm really disappointed. It could have been a bad day for this man in his personal life or it was Friday July 3rd and he may have wanted the day off or the covid pandemic has got to him. Either way there needs to be some process improvement to enhance the customer experience. When I had Saabs I bought them from Secor Saab and there were many and I also bought a Volvo S60 and my salesperson was Diane every time. For my 2019 RAM I contacted her but she could not sell me the RAM but put me in touch with Al Morse who was great. The sales staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable and I look forward to dealing with them for my next RAM lease in January 2022. James Birge More
Buying my ram was simple and pain free. I bought it certified used so I’ve had to return for service for a few tweaks so far. I’m still trying to diagnose everything that could be a potential problem down the road but now I’m waiting on service to return my call due to a front end transmission noise I’m getting. It’s been over a week and no response. I had initially brought my truck back due to the tires shaking and needed a rebalance. Got the truck back worse than I dropped it off but it turns out the tech that did it the first time didn’t know how to use the machine. Spent 2 days and 2 visits trying to do a simple service so it was more frustrating than anything More
