I tried many car lots and always felt I wasn't getting a good deal for my money, or that I was getting my strings pulled. My luck changed when I was referred to Derrick Evans at Capitol Chevrolet. He was available and ready to met us at our first outreach. Nerves and prior letdowns made us skeptical of our continued search for a new vehicle, but we put that behind usand made our way over. 3hrs after our hand shake with Mr. Evans I was signing papers for my new 2016 Chevy Malibu!!!! I'm completely satisfied with my new purchase and I couldn't have done it with out the help of Derrick; he was very informative and had our best interest in mind throughout the process. With that said I would highly recommend my family, friends, or anyone interested to Capitol Chevrolet for their next car purchase!!! More

Horrible! We bought a used car from Capital Chevrolet in Dec. of last year because a family member recommended them. It was a great experience and Manny really We bought a used car from Capital Chevrolet in Dec. of last year because a family member recommended them. It was a great experience and Manny really took care of us. So naturally when we needed a 2nd used car, he was the only person we called even though we had moved to Manor (not a quick trip when you can't get anyone to return your phone call). However, it appears that our experience last year was the exception and not the norm. This time we were sold a car that within two days started giving us a lot of trouble; check engine light came on, car was stuttering, shaking, and dying. There was a warranty but when my husband called he was given the run around for a few days. Finally, it was taken in for service with the promise that it would only be in for a few days. We struggled as a family to get all of us to school, work, and back home in only one vehicle. We were eventually given a loaner car that was a lifesaver considering the car was in Capital's possession for over 3 weeks! We still had faith in Capital and didn't worry about making the 1st month's payment thinking the car would be in great shape after being "serviced" for so long. Our faith was poorly place since the car was in the EXACT SAME CONDITION AS WHEN IT WAS LEFT! Same problems! By this point we just want to return the car. But we were told b/c the first payment was already made they can only take the car back as a trade towards another vehicle. Alright, we were willing to work that out even though it seems very convenient that they kept the car so long that a payment had to be made so now the car can't be returned. Instead of working with us, Capital has taken this opportunity to try and force us into a more expensive vehicle with a higher monthly payment. We have been trying for almost 3 weeks to get into another vehicle but are only offered vehicles that are not an option for us financially. They expect us to pay more a month b/c they don't have any other inventory but refuse to change that they are valuing the car at less than 1/2 of what they sold it for less than 2 months ago. On top of that, the down payment we put towards the original car "doesn't count" towards anything. We spoke to the manager, Lazarus Marquart, who assured us something would be worked out soon and now our calls aren't being returned. I have left 4 messages for Alex Flores today and although he was in the office, somehow failed to return my calls. I usually don't expect anyone to call me back in just a day but my patience has run out and I have no faith left in Captial. I am sorry we ever went back and that we made so many trips to South Austin just to get someone to acknowledge we were having troubles with the car from the get-go. I am expecting to have to take more time off from work tomorrow to get someone to respond to me. More

My Salesman, Eugene Flowers, bent over backwards to make sure I was satisfied and followed up a week or two later. He made the car available for us to drive out after he was already off on a Saturday. On the day I went to pick it up the paperwork was in order- no hidden surprises - I was in and out of the finance office and on the highway within 30-40 minutes . I wouldn't just refer people to Eugene at Cap Chevy I absolutely encourage it. He is a Class Act Dealer in a Class Act Dealership - you can't go wrong with those 2 positives.
