I previously paid $1,866.26 for a heater core replacement. I had to take it back to Captiol Chevrolet to get it right because my A/C was still leaking. It was in the service dept for another 2 da replacement. I had to take it back to Captiol Chevrolet to get it right because my A/C was still leaking. It was in the service dept for another 2 days and I was told that the technician drove my car for miles and it was no longer leaking. I only had the car back a few days and now had to take it back again. It's amazing how I had to pay as much as I did for a heater core replacement, had that replaced, but it was still leaking. Then the technician sealed the firewall in some way and it is still leaking. Now, I'm definitely feeling like my car was misdiagnosed and to add insult to injury, I'm out almost $2,000 for absolutely nothing. The aggravation behind this is ridiculous. I need a reimbursement for this headache and inconvenience. I have never been more disgusted. I have been a customer at Capitol Chevrolet for almost 10 years and this is what $1,866.26 worth of work gets me on top of feeling like I have been robbed. This is upsetting! More
This is the worst service department. My car was towed to capital Chevrolet montgomery 2months ago because of low antifreeze in the radiator. I told them I had to add water and antifreeze . All I needed was for them to check to see where the antifreeze was going and the message on the dashboard stated turn engine off over heating. I asked if they can do a diagnostic check. The lady at the service desk said it would take about 2 weeks before they can check my car. I waited for 2 weeks. No return call so I called and the lady at the service department stated that the mechanic can’t find anything wrong with my car. So when was they gonna call me!!!! I tried to explain what was going on and the technician did not do a diagnostic test on my car.He Stated he just let the car ran to see if the message would appear so my husband called and the lady on the telephone was very nasty about the car. So she calls me and stated for my husband not to call back. So after that the manager Luke stated that I can let the car stay there but they can’t find anything wrong with my car. So I was advised to take the car and drive it and if the message appear bring the car back. So the day I went a picked up my car someone had bumped my car door and knocked off the paint. Luke said to bring the car back and they will repair it that following Monday. Well I returned with the car because the message reappeared on the dashboard and Cody stated that Luke will be off for a while. I was advised by Cody to take the car somewhere else because they will not be able to check my car for about 3 weeks because they was backed up with work. So I took my car to Riverside Chevrolet in Wetumpka and Lauren called back within a few hours and stated the diagnostic test shows intake leak. So the heads had to be reworked. So why Capital Chevrolet in montgomery couldn’t do a diagnostic test???? I will never go there again. Bad business and attitude problems. I just don’t understand why people can’t do their job!!!! I was frustrated to say the least by having to come in again and wait for the repair. But as I pulled my truck into the service queue, Carl met me and asked if I was there for the recall. I said I was and he took my key fob and said he'd perform the work himself and it would take less than 15 minutes. I timed it; it was 11 minutes. Wait to go, Carl - you earned my 5-star rating, buddy! I should add that I've received the same stellar treatment every single time I've brought my truck in for service. More
Don’t have anything valuable in your car when you go here I’ve bought 2 new truck from these people. Last oil change I got from them. I found stuff missing from in my truck. First you fix something that wasn't broken and have me waiting 7 hours in the lobby. Soon as I leave the light comes back on and I come back the next day. Mind you that I am the very first person in line waiting before the service center even opened. Needless to say I was there 5 hours before the advisor decided to stop blowing smoke up my xxx and give me a rental which by the way the lady who issues them out didn't want to put fuel in. The poor courtesy service driver guy had to almost plea with her on letting him put fuel in the loaner for me. Fast forward next day no one called me on the status of my vehicle or anything . So I called at 1:00pm only to be told that hey we fix the wrong thing but we'll give you credit for the $300 towards the correct part that needs replacing and you owe us $214. Now here it is Thursday and no one has called me. I had to call them. My advisor told me that hey Mrs. Adams the part didn't get here to like 11am and the technician is out to lunch so as soon as he gets back he'll get on it. I'm like moron don't you think you could have called me and told me this morning. I promise to God I will never take my car back to Capitol Chevrolet Service Center in Montgomery. A bunch morons running around fixing parts that aren't broken and blowing smoke up customers xxxxx. I really feel like I shouldn't have to pay these morons anything. They should be like hey Mrs. Adams we xxxxed up go pick out a new car and right their wrong?. Rant over?. I hope this post makes it to the president of the company. As of today 10/8/18 Monday no one called me on the status of my vehicle. I had to call my advisor Carl again as usual. He told me Friday that my car would be ready today and that they've finally figured out the problem and would need to take the brake pressure booster that they put on off. Turns out it was my manifold. I did some research and the first thing it said was one of the tale tale signs was the smell of antifreeze which I told them upon delivery of my car I had been smelling. Needless to say when I called Carl at 11am today to see if my vehicle was ready as promised it would be; he blew more smoke II my xxx. He told me that the technician was not in as of 9 am that he had a family emergency over the weekend and had to take his daughter to the hospital. At this point I gives zero xxxxs. I just want my vehicle back and I promise I won't be doing business with Capitol Chevrolet again. Apparently no one seems to understand the concept of customer service. I should have went to Haigler Automotive like I usually do. They do a terrific job and they keep their customers abreast on the status of there vehicles. Capitol Chevrolet could learn a lot from them. Yesterday 10/9/18 I went to pick up my vehicle and when the brought it out guess what? The check engine light was still on. I told my ad visor Carl Grier and had the car taken back to the back and they just turned the check engine light off. On my way to work about 15 minutes later the check engine light came back on and I smelled antifreeze and I noticed that my key fob had a hole in it like someone intentionally punched it in there. So now it's hard for me to unlock my car. My advisor assured me that they would correct the problem and to bring my car back and they'd take care of the key fob and assign a new technician to work on my car. They also would put me back in a loaner car. I just took my car back to them this morning 10/10/18. I have absolutely no faith in them and I'm quite sure when I get my car back the problem still will be ongoing. I asked Carl if they had any mechanics back there are just technicians. I really feel like they need mechanics instead of all these unskilled technicians. More
They kept my car and no one called me. I took my car in for service. I had an appointment set up a month in advance. I dropped my car off at 9am. Super Service Larry Craft had my car fixed in a flash. We took it in for a cracked windshield and to be deodorized b/c of possible previous cigarette smoke.
