I have purchased a few vehicles from Capital Chevrolet and never received the type of customer service from the sales manager as I received Saturday 8/18/12. My daughter and I visited two other dealership and never received the type of customer service from the sales manager as I received Saturday 8/18/12. My daughter and I visited two other dealerships regarding trading a used Cobalt and was very disappointed with the sales manager wouldn't even consider helping the saleman wuth giving us an approximate appraisal price on a vehicle being repaired at one of their preferred auto body shops. Not only wasn't he willing to give an estimate, NO ONE followed up with my daughter or I until she called the saleman back on Monday. I currently have a Chevy Cobalt and a Cadillac and I will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH CAPITAL CHEVOLET AGAIN!! Thank you Jack Ingram and Brewbaker for at least attempting to assist us with purchasing my daughters first new car purchase. At least we were greeted and assisted by salesman at Jack Ingram and Brewbaker who were trained to be salemens with ethical, professional, knowledgeable and courteous people skills. I bought this car over the telephone! Scary - huh? I requested a price quote through Consumer Reports and David responded. I told him all the specifics that I wanted in a new 2012 Camaro and he found my car, even though it was in Memphis, TN. He was never pushy and never hesitated to get me answers to my questions. I priced cars locally that didn't fit all of my requirements, and this one was still $800 cheaper. It was definately worth the 100 mile drive to Montgomery to get my dream car. Bill met us at the dealership on the morning of the pickup. (David was in an all-day meeting.) He walked us through the purchase procedure and then spent over an hour with me in the car going over all the features of my new Camaro. My husband and I have never had such excellent service in a car dealership. We have and will continue to recommend Capitol Chevrolet to all of our family and friends -- and anybody else that asks! My wife and I enjoyed coming on the lot to look for a specific car. We had searched the internet to check prices and amenities in the various crossover vehicles. We zeroed in on the Equinox and found that Capitol Chevrolet had the one we wanted. Mack was very helpful. He answered our questions and didn't try to pressure us. We thought it over and decided if we didn't act soon this particular car would probably sell quickly and we'd be back to square one. It took a while to go through the process with all the paper work but we finally left there with a car we are still very pleased with. Bill Kissenger stayed a long while with instructions on how everything worked. It was sort of a crash course in the features the car offered. He assured us we could call any time with what ever questions would come up over getting used to all of the bells and whistles. Overall it really was a much better experience than I expected. More

I stopped by Capitol today, to look at a 2500hd they had on the lot. The truck was listed fairly, but the trouble came when they "attempted" to give me a price on my Suburban. They offered $9,000 less than on the lot. The truck was listed fairly, but the trouble came when they "attempted" to give me a price on my Suburban. They offered $9,000 less than trade-in value, on a clean 10 out of 10 Suburban. When I said no, and asked what they were going to list it for they admitted that they were going to put it up for $11,000 more than they offered me. When I said "no," and countered with published trade-in value the manager laughed the loudest grease ball laugh you would expect out of a sheister salesman. They're not getting one dime from me or my friends in the future. The military network is huge, and I will do everything in my power to push every potential customer of theirs to ANY other dealership. More
I bought a used VW Jetta from them 3 years ago and was in the market for a trade in. I live in Birmingham and have plenty of dealerships to choose from but b/c my experience was so great last time I thought the market for a trade in. I got there early in the morning, test drove the car and had to meet someone for breakfast. They let me take the car out for an hour while they looked over financing options. I came back, heard my options and there I was in a 2010 VW Beetle which I love! I hate a great day at Capitol Chevrolet and thank them for their time they spent with me. Thanks guys! More
