Unnecessary waste of my time I paid for and assumed I received the mandatory state inspection on July 2, 2018. I went for vehicle registration on 7/23/2018. Was told my inspecti I paid for and assumed I received the mandatory state inspection on July 2, 2018. I went for vehicle registration on 7/23/2018. Was told my inspection was not in the system. I told the agent the inspection had been performed by the Hyundai dealership. She wanted to see the paperwork. I realized I only had the receipt showing I'd paid for the inspection. I went back to the department of motor vehicles and was told I needed the state inspection form; my receipt would not work. I went home, looked through my paperwork and discovered I did not have a copy. I had to go back to the dealership; they had to run my car through the inspection again and finally I was able to get my vehicle registration. Took a total of 3 trips and approximately 3 hours between standing in line at DMV and waiting for an inspection I thought had already been done. I love my Hyundai; but, have been very unhappy with the service department at Capital. Think I'll try Burlington or Winston-Salem the next time I need service. More

Went in to get my annual car inspection. Was out and about doing errands. Didn't know if I needed an appointment or if they had time to see me that day. They took me right in!
