Driving in from Nashville to Charlotte for a convention my Bronco Sport broke down coming into town. I was in an unfamiliar place and didn't know where to go and what was wrong with it. I chose Capital because of Google reviews and proximity. On the way the car finally wouldn't drive anymore so I had to get it towed. Once I arrived at Capital Ford service center I went in and met Todd the Service Advisor. I told him my whole story and he did everything he could to start making sure I could have the car back if possible by the time I would leave on Friday. Todd worked hard to get the transmission there quickly and he along with Daniel the Service Manager moved techs around who could focus on my vehicle. They even got it done a day before when they heard it would save me a day's cost of a rental vehicle. And they did all the recalls that were needed and found a water pump that was leaking. And got approval to replace it because they didn't want it to go out on me as I traveled back to Nashville. How nice! And all of this was under warranty so they didn't make a bunch of money off of me or anything. They just wanted to help a poor stranded traveler to their city. I can't say enough good things about everyone I worked with their including the shuttle drivers who were great in my time of need. If I lived in Charlotte Capital Ford would be my dealership hands down. More

I tried 4 times to make a service appointment for Ford recalls. The first 3 no one called me back and this last time I was hung up on by a person named Eric. Made a appointment to have my truck looked at due to water leak. After three days I was told they couldn't find anything and was going call me back. Never called me back. I called the service depa water leak. After three days I was told they couldn't find anything and was going call me back. Never called me back. I called the service department days later and they told me they had to wait for the water leak expert. My question is what were you doing with my truck the first week??? Another week goes by then they call me a tell me it was from my third taillight which wasn't the issue then charged me $200. I took my truck do a different business and they informed me that the leak was definitely not the the third taillight and produced a video to show me where the leak was. Easy fix.... I then proceeded to call the dealership (Capital Ford)who charge me for some half hack diagnostic with misinformation to get my money back. I was told I would get a refund due to the tech performing his job.... This tech misinformed me of the issue...... I had to go somewhere else to get my truck fixed. Do not trust this dealership. They are clueless! I was so close to buying a new truck from them again...... nope More

After asking to clarify some charges on my service invoice, Steve the service manager raised his voice at me, insulted me in front of customers and employees, and called me into his office to intimidate me. I hope nobody ever has to deal with him again, and if management is aware of his behavior, then they are truly negligent in letting him interact with customers. More
Incompetence in service no integrity in management I brought my Ford F-250 Super Duty In for tires at #CapitalFordCharlotte. After 4 and a half hours the truck was ready. When starting the truck I noti I brought my Ford F-250 Super Duty In for tires at #CapitalFordCharlotte. After 4 and a half hours the truck was ready. When starting the truck I noticed my tire pressure on all four wheels was at 45 psi. Ford calls for 75psi on the rear tires and 60psi on the front. I brought this to their attention and after they adjusted I was now getting messages the front were over inflated and rear were under. They placed the tire sensors back in the wrong positions and it took approximately 30-45 minutes while they re-programmed the sensors. They apologized and they stated they were training someone new. My rims were left greasy and not even wiped off. When I paid (approx $890) they kept telling me my debit card had been declined. Finally they said it went through. When I woke up Monday morning they had in fact charged me 4 times. I contacted the bank and the dealer (actually drove to the dealer). My bank did make the correction. Fast forward 11,000 miles. My truck is now due for a set of tires. Yes! 11,000 miles. Upon inspection it was found that the dealer had installed a passenger vehicle rated tire instead of an LT tire. This they would have known based upon the tire pressure rating on the tire sidewall (tire manufacturer stated 45psi max. They in fact inflated a tire to double that which the tire manufacturer recommended. I immediately contacted the dealer. After researching they admitted they installed the wrong tire. They then went on to tell me the service advisor who handled the transaction was no longer with them. They also stated the truck should have gone to their truck shop and not the quick lane. Really? Think about that. They then stated they would split the difference in price from what I paid vs what the correct tire would have been. Sounds good right? Wrong! They are telling me the same tire in an LT rating is almost double. I went to another Ford dealer and In writing was told the Michelin LT with alignment was just under $1100. Less than a $300 difference. I contacted Ford customer service and was issued a ticket number and was told they would research. I then received a call back stating they received no response. Finally after getting in touch with the Finance Manager at Capital Ford I was told the same thing. Yes, those tires never should have been installed. Wow! He agrees. Thought I’m getting somewhere. Nope! Just received a call back and was told the best they would do was what I was quoted. Even though I had a written estimate from another ford dealer. What happened to price matching? Don’t they say they will beat any competitors price? Of course they do. To get you in the door. The fact of the matter is this. They were wrong. Not me. They put myself and my family in an unsafe situation. They let an untrained individual install equipment he was obviously not qualified to install. They are dishonest and have zero integrity. They do not stand behind their work. I’m lucky I haven’t had a blow out and killed myself or much worse, someone else. I would not and will not ever recommend #capitalFord in Charlotte or any Capital Ford location. They can’t service what they sell. Your better off trying a small lot that may actually know what integrity is. Bad service on my Shelby Mustang Had my Shelby in the body shop at the dealership and got pretty good service there. They kept the car forever - over a week and only completed 1 out of 4 items on the list. When i picked u the car, the plastic lens over the tachometer mostly obscured by something spilled on it that will not come off - i think it's inside the lens, I WILL NEVER USE CAPITAL FORD AGAIN!!! More
