Mike, the owner, is at the center of these dishonest practices, supported by his puppets staff, who promise the car but fail to disclose critical payment terms. They use manipulative tactics to mislead customers. To make matters worse, the car I received was delivered with mechanical issues. When I tried to address the problem, the dealership left me stuck with the car not answering phone or text messages, and finally blocking me like you know what. It's shocking that this business is still operating considering the number of complaints from others who have been scammed in similar ways. Avoid this place at all cost. Capital Auto Mall had a 2006 Toyota Prius with 75,000 mils on it. I had called and let them know that I would have to take a carshare ride for 200.00 from Miami to Lakeland to get this car and it would mils on it. I had called and let them know that I would have to take a carshare ride for 200.00 from Miami to Lakeland to get this car and it would be my only transportation. I got into this car and drove it 50 feet down the street and it died leaving me stranded. Had to pay another 140.00 for the same share ride back to Miami (luckily) and wasted 9 hours of my time and the entire day. The kid who showed me the car didnt even apologize and said a mechanic had never checked the condition of the car. I suspect they knew there was a problem with this car because of its low price. Pretty rude and expensive thing to do to someone. The kid did try and sell me a 12,000 car though. Thanks for nothing Capital Auto Mall. More
