You asked, so I'm giving you my thoughts. This is not personal, only business. My wife brought our car in for an oil change and rotation. It takes hours every time we bring it in for an oil This is not personal, only business. My wife brought our car in for an oil change and rotation. It takes hours every time we bring it in for an oil change. I worked at a Ford dealership in NC for 6 years, and we NEVER took longer than 30 minutes to do a standard oil change. Then, they called my wife and told her that they couldn't do the rotation unless they replaced all of the lug nuts at a cost of $200. She declined. (I found a brand new set for $35). When we both got back home, I looked at the Invoice that she was given. There was no mention of the lug nuts or cost estimate listed there. We have the Ford Visa card, currently with over $100 in rewards credit on it), and when she went to pay and pickup the car, the girl at the counter said that the guys at the service desk would have to do that and they were gone. So 1) we had to pay $71 that should have been covered by rewards credit, and 2)I have been there more than once at paid with rewards credit at the showroom counter with no problem, and 3)we didn't get the tire rotation that the car is due for. So there's either a training issue, or a dishonesty issue. Either way, I am not happy at all. We have other issues in the past at this dealership, but I've looked past that because it's the local "hometown" dealer. I'm afraid we can't do that anymore. I will be taking our car elsewhere for service from here forward. Lastly, I was originally going to give a 1-star, but I decided that was too harsh, even if it was earned. For the sake of your customers and your business, I hope you take this review into consideration. I am considering forwarding a copy of it to Ford Motors in Dearborn. I have a couple of friends who work in administration there. More
