Was told I needed a $1550 part replacement due to ongoing 10R80 transmission issues, after already paying $125 for an adaptive learning reset that did nothing. I was called and informed that none of that fixed my transmission issues, and that I ultimately need to replace my transmission for another almost $8000, and I still had to pay the bill for work that didn’t fix it even 1%. I informed the service manager that my truck, which still only has 58k miles, is running worse now than when I brought it in, and his response was “well I have to pay my guys.” Ford corporate is ignoring the widespread transmission issue, and now a dealer is basically saying “tough, keep paying.” This is the first and last Ford I’ll own. More
