Service Department is terrible! Worst experience I've ever had trying to get warranty/repair work done. I'm a very laid back take your time and get it right understanding that things don't always go rig ever had trying to get warranty/repair work done. I'm a very laid back take your time and get it right understanding that things don't always go right kind of person because I do automotive repair work but this company is a joke. Every time I called our camper was almost ready and they would promise to call me back but that never happened. 2 1/2 months after I dropped it off I called on a Monday to see if I could pick up at the end of the week and they said sure they would call me back to set a time up then Friday came I went to pick up (still no phone call). Once we showed up they said they were putting the slide topper on it would be ready in 2hrs but we ended up waiting 4 just to see no warranty work had been done So don't buy any of the expensive warranty bs but most importantly don't buy anything from this company unless you like being used and abused. I took it home done the work myself with hopes to never return to Camping World More
Service Dept is Ridiculous! The Customer Service is absolutely horrible. Oh they are nice enough but don't actually fix your problems, then when warranty is out the same problem The Customer Service is absolutely horrible. Oh they are nice enough but don't actually fix your problems, then when warranty is out the same problem is miraculously fixed after a year and it's a different problem according to them and now you must pay ALOT of money in order to maybe get it fixed. I bought my camper here but will never again, nor will I purchase from this store. Its a matter or principle now. Oh I have a complaint in with cooperate and I've spoken with the Manufacturer. It is now at Midstate waiting for a diagnosis. DO NOT waste your time or money dealing with this service dept. And trust me when I say we went from the bottom to the top of command. More

The younger heavy set kid (i say kid because he is young and sat there and bashed all his co-workers) should be fired. He doesn't represent the brand and who bashes their co-workers to employees? Why? Jonathon tells you he will call you back and crickets. He tells you he will make X happen and nothing happens. I am so disappointed. Don't buy their warranty. Go somewhere else. Go somewhere that actually cares. These other reviews are spot on. If Jonathon is running that show then he needs to either be trained on how to manage or Gander/Camping World need to bring someone in from Corporate to change the mindset of employees from "you bother me" to "how can i serve you today"... Nightmare all around If I could give Zero stars I would, I can not even begin to explain the year long nightmare it has been dealing with this store. Bought a brand new camper a year ago from this store, it leaked within a few months and had water damage. Took it to be repaired it took them 2 1/2 months and said it was ready, (we called many times and couldn’t get updates or return calls, have to go in person every time for the 6 months), went to pick it up NOTHING had been repaired all that was done was resealed the area, which wasn’t done until that had it over 2 months. So a water leak with just a little damage turned into mold and water damage spread all over.... they tried to return it this way.... visible brown marks on areas that weren’t damaged prior to us leaving it with them. Said they would repair the damage then 2 months later it was “ready” again. I will attach pictures of what the camper looked like to fix the damage. They had had the camper almost 6 months at this point. So another month later go to pick up the “fixed” camper, tested for moisture and it had it all in the walls of the original damaged area. So this brings me to the next issue, we spoke with GM and “traded in” the camper they could never fix. Lost thousands of dollars on it and got another camper which was more expensive and so then we end up out even more for a smaller camper but at least it didn’t have mold. So they get a payoff, the loan was funded immediately from the bank records, however here we are 6 weeks later and have made a payment on the new loan and also have to continue paying on the old loan because they haven’t sent the payment in. Called many times and can’t get any answers or returned calls. So we will have to go up there again this weekend. I can not stress this enough.... do not buy or service a camper at this camping world. The first camper I was charged extra fees for not getting it registered on time because they took several months to get the paperwork in and I couldn’t register it. Still can’t register this new camper either so I’m sure I will have fees for it as well. I don’t want anyone to go through the literal nightmare I have. Anyone who put a good review on here has never bought or serviced a camper here..... just don’t do it, I promise you will regret it. More

I went thee to get it 2 times and nothing was done at all. They will not call you back they will try to do everything they can to ignore you. They will not fix anything. Got ahold of the manufacture and they approved everything and camping world said they might not can fix some things and that's bullcrap cuz they were told to fix it. I will never ever take anything to them. I wouldn't even stop in this place to use the bathroom.. no higher management will call back or act like they give a crap. I am still fighting for my camper and will have to hire someone to check for mold when they are done because since they have had my camper there is now mold thru out. NEVER GO HERE!!!!! More

After numerous phone calls and visits to the store, visits because phone calls were never returned, it is now 5 weeks and $4900 later and I still don't have my RV or car that I dropped off for the tow package installation on the 9th of April. The service desk is a complete disaster area, papers scattered all over with customers personal information exposed. While waiting in front of the desk the employee was on the phone with another unhappy customer wanting to speak to the manager. When he was off the phone I told him I was there to pick up my car and to make sure that the tires had been put on the RV as that was the final thing to be done. He said, "What's your phone number, I'll have to check and call you." I'm standing in front of him in the store and he'll have to call me!?!?! That was a week and a half ago and he hasn't called or returned my messages. Saturday the 20th of April I called with assistance from your call center and actually talked to a person at the service desk who said, "Everything is ready but give us about half an hour for John to go over everything just to make sure and I'll call you." I called after 2 1/2 hours and had to leave a message. It's Monday the 22nd of April and still no phone call. I have never in my 60 years had such absolute horrendous customer service. If I were at the corporate level I'd send in a process improvement team to standardize their process and provide training to the employees. This would make both your customers and employees very happy. Just a suggestion. More

We were so impressed by how professional, courteous, and helpful everyone there was to us. Laura Wade, Terry Reno, John McCaughan, and Gary Marc provided exceptional support during the demonstration and purchase process. Gail Frazier's service team did a great job upgrading our truck and trailer. We were also very impressed by the thorough walk though to explain all features of our toy hauler. Finally, Micky Fuller took time to walk around the store and help us find all the equipment needed for our first trip. We had an awesome experience purchasing our first camper and were so pleased with the family atmosphere at Camping World of Macon! Billy and Anne Parker More
