On June 30, 2022, I purchased an 18ft camper. Unfortunately, this is a horrible place. My experience with Camping World at "6503 SE Alexander ST" was a nightmare. Pros: none Cons: 1) Finan Unfortunately, this is a horrible place. My experience with Camping World at "6503 SE Alexander ST" was a nightmare. Pros: none Cons: 1) Financial manager Geffery (This is how he spelled it, not with J) made sure to express his displeasure with me paying cash. He told me to get the loan and pay it off later. But who would do that when you can pay in cash? When I told him "no," he became very rude. And he made sure I paid for it. I didn't get my plate and the title for over 2months. The reason was that he had never mailed the paper for over a month. At the same time, he only gave me one week's worth of temporary paper plates. 2) My salesperson Frank U. and the rest of the people were very dishonest and discriminatory. For example, I went to pick up my camper after they told me it was 100% ready. However, they removed the cover for my utility and had it covered with see-through plastic. The mechanics, technicians, Frank, and the sales manager told me it was my fault because the cover was never there when I purchased it. How ridiculous! After their lie didn't work, they told me it was stolen. It went on and on. They refused to take responsibility, even though my camper parked in their shop for 2 days. They knew I could do nothing about it since I had to leave for California for work the next day. Finally, I threatened to call the police since it was "stolen." Only then did they decide to replace it with peace of metal, and Tyler promised to order a new part and mail me a $400 check. If I didn't pay in cash and if I'm not an Asian- American, I would not have been treated this way. They put me in agony and wasted a lot of time until I got the plate, the title, and the cover. What a horrible place. More

After two days I called to inquire about receiving payment. Throughout the week I was dismissed in each of four phone calls, with the excuse that "corporate" had not responded to his request. Finally after a week of not hearing from them, I checked the Camping World website and saw that they had POSTED MY RV FOR SALE on the website before paying me. I had to call and demand my payment. After referring to the delay of "corporate" in previous phone calls, wonder of wonders, good ol' Con man Pat was magically able to arrange that my check be cut that very day. Also, at the time of the contract, he had promised to collect any items I had accidentally left in my RV and save them for me to pick up. This had not been done for me. When I came to Camping World to get my check, Pat instead asked "What do you want from the RV?" as if it were my job to list each item. I'm wondering if they broke the law by putting the RV up for sale before I received payment. At the very least, their business practice at Camping World is disgraceful and morally lacking. Needless to say, I would never recommend anyone do business with this company. More

They promised to d November 2020 Our 6 month nightmare regarding this dealership continues. We purchased a new freedom elite 28fe first of June 2020. They promised to deliver it to Eugene Oregon with all functions working and would have their agent explain all operating functions of the unit to us at delivery. None of these promises and commitments happened. When delivered the black tank was full, the TVs weren’t working because the cable connections were bad, the Generator wasn’t working and the carborator needed replacing, and two days later the engine battery was dead. So far in over 5 months they’ve replaced 3 batteries, a engine electrical device, fixed a wiring connection in the rear jacks and then told us the wiring was most likely “a mess” and to date after 5 months they still can’t find the electrical short draining the battery. A week ago they told us they were done and “take the RV to a Ford dealer” We’ve owned the RV for 6 months and haven’t driven it 1 mile except for taking it back to the Eugene Oregon Camping World for repaires several times that never fixed the problem. We’re now seeking legal help in hopes of using the “lemon laws” to hopefully return this nightmare to the worst company we’ve ever dealt with. Best advice, avoid this company like the plague 🤬 More
