I purchased a used Volvo XC70 from Campbell Nelson Volkswagen. What I liked about the service was they were not pushy at all. I never felt any pressure and never had anyone breathing down my neck. In fact, I had to go search for someone to help me, even after I'd been on the lot for 30 minutes. They do participate in the sales approach where the sales guy goes back and forth to the manager, coming back with a new offer each time. I HATE THAT!! This was even after the sales guy told me they don't like to operate that way. They tried to squeeze every penny from me, which was irritating. Other than that, the sales rep, Roman, was quite nice during the process; however, after the sell, he didn't want anything to do with me. He did not follow through with the things he said he would do and when I asked him about some issues, he wanted to just pass me on to someone else. I signed the paper-work with the business manager named Michelle. She was ALL business and only pretended to be interested. I did not like her phoney, pretend to care nature. She seemed like someone who does not like their job and it showed. She really took any excitement that was left out of the car buying experience. With this said, Michelle was very efficient and took care of contacting my insurance and seemed very organized. She's just not a people person. My review is a toss up between recommend and not recommend because I liked the no hassle sales approach, but, in the end, was disappointed with the buying experience. More
