Most of our interaction was during the pick-up, when he came in on his day off to get me the car I'd been waiting for. He did a great job of being efficient during the process, taking me through the car while the paper work was going on, spending time on things that are peculiar to this vehicle and not on common controls. I also appreciate the gentleman who managed the lease signing. Very friendly and efficient. There were no pressure tactics along the way at all. They were quick to point out options I didn't need, and 'no' was always an ok answer. Even the service guys were very friendly when i was touring around the place. This is my first car. I had never gone car shopping before nor had I ever really looked into different vehicles before this. The Campbell Nelson Nissan/Volkswagen dealer was my 3rd dealer and so far I before nor had I ever really looked into different vehicles before this. The Campbell Nelson Nissan/Volkswagen dealer was my 3rd dealer and so far I wasn't expecting much. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the building was the ease in which the other representatives spoke to each other and how they laughed and were at ease. It helped in easing the tension and relieving some of the intimidation that I feel from these kind of places in general. Greg is a great guy and he actually worked with me in finding something that felt right, fit me and wasn't too small. My big issue is that I'm very tall and any car that I want to drive has to be able to fit my huge legs. I left the first day impressed by the vehicles but not finding anything that really fit what I was looking for. After some time, I came back later and wondered if Greg was willing to show me around again. We spent that entire day going through cars in the lot. Working through all those in the Nissan lot (finding most of them to be far too small) and then began searching in the Volkswagen section, which Greg didn't know too much about. After trying out quite a few Volkswagen cars, Greg finally game to a Volkswagen Passat, 2004, with less than 50,000 miles on it. The size was right, the price was right and this car had more amenities than anything else I had even heard of. Thanks to Greg working with me and my having time to stay at the building far later than I had expected, I left that day with that Passat. I have never looked back. March 15, 2011 1:00 p.m. I contacted the sale associated. All I want to sign the paper work and get out. I spent 2 hours driving during rainy day and heavy traffic. Locked up 1 hour at the dealer. Final NO car. Just like typical other dealers that everyone hated with all the executes and full of b.s. 7:00 p.m. I went to Eastside Nissan in Bellevue NE 8tn next to Burger King and bought the car at the sale price this dealer posted on the news paper. I drove brand new car off the lot (free full tank gas, washed clean) within 1.5 hours with all the paper signed. 8:45 p.m. drove my new car into my garage without headache and no b.s. I bought many cars before. I don't think any dealer in WA can sell and finish all the document within 90 minutes. P.S. I'm not a car dealer. The "Kendealer" is my user name.
