Contacted this dealership about a uses Chevy traverse and made arrangements with Wes Adwell to meet on a Thursday during Christmas week to hopefully buy this car. I had to hire a ride to get there because my made arrangements with Wes Adwell to meet on a Thursday during Christmas week to hopefully buy this car. I had to hire a ride to get there because my vehicle had been in a wreck and was a total loss. When I arrived at the agreed time it took about 15 minutes to find Wes and when he finally arrived he told me the Traverse was in the shop & then it was being driven and not on the lot!! He then tells me I should have called and made an appointment?! HUH???? When I told him that I DID call ( I have the texts to prove it) he lied right to my face and said he didn’t remember any such call. I guess he has an evil twin!!! I just couldn’t believe what just happened so I quickly left. This all happened from late November through December so…just out of curiosity I called the dealership in mid January and guess who answered the phone??? Yep Wes Adwell himself and when I identified myself he went on full defensive mode He denied everything he originally told me ( it would take forever to list all of them) I might have purchased that vehicle and was prepared to negotiate but for the fact that this salesperson is a menace to the dealership he works for More
I went to Campbell Chevrolet to buy an older truck. Wes Adwell was our salesperson. He showed us the truck. The only thing we noticed was a very strong cherry smell and knew the truck had been detailed Wes Adwell was our salesperson. He showed us the truck. The only thing we noticed was a very strong cherry smell and knew the truck had been detailed. Several hours after getting the truck home, we knew what the cherry scent was about. It was to cover up that the truck had been owned for 11 years by one smoking owner. By the next day, the cigg. smell was so bad, that when my son brought groceries home, the groceries smelled of ciggs, as did he. He had a headache from the cigg. smell. My son took the truck to another dealership, and the salesperson there said he wouldn't even get in that truck. The stench was that bad. After researching that nothing permanently gets rid of cigg smell, we traded the truck in, at a big loss. The salesperson said he could smell ciggs. on us, and that the odor was affecting his eyes, nose, and throat. That truck had been sprayed heavily with deodorizer to deceive us and get it sold. Ordinarily, all one should need to do is open a vehicle door, to know if it has been smoked in. I am an honest person, and it never crossed my mind, that a dealership would do something so deceptive. Why not just honestly tell someone it has been smoked in? There are plenty of smokers around that might have bought that truck and not cared, but my family finds ciggs. repulsive and everyone here has asthma. This was so wrong and so deceptive. I would never trust Campbell Chevrolet again. More
My husband and I were seeking a vehicle for our teenage daughter, located one online at Campbell Chevrolet. Was put in contact with Wes regarding this vehicle communicated with him several times over the n daughter, located one online at Campbell Chevrolet. Was put in contact with Wes regarding this vehicle communicated with him several times over the next few days setting up a visit that coming Saturday. Saturday morning he confirmed that we were coming, we jumped in the car and drove an hour to Bowling Green. He knew we were traveling from a little bit of a distance, and just as we were pulling up to the dealership, I received a text from Wes, letting me know that the vehicle had been pulled into service and would not be ready that day. After almost a full week of communication about coming to buy the vehicle cash in hand, somehow it magically was not able to be test driven or even seen that day. When we got out of the car Instead of apologizing, or having a solution, his question was “is there anything else on the lot you were interested in” we responded no and returned to our vehicle and left. We did purchase a vehicle that day from a different dealership in Bowling Green. Before we finished our day, I already received texts thanking me for stopping by asking me to reach out with any questions I may have and my responses were to remove me from communication that I had no interest in doing business with Campbell Chevrolet or Wes ever again. to that I got no response. Yesterday I received another email from Wes generated from, I will assume, their CRM inviting me to check their inventory. I understand how sales works but I also understand about serving a customer and honoring requests to not be contacted, when you’ve talked to someone multiple times in one week about coming to see a specific car and then suddenly, the vehicle is unavailable seems sketchy at best, I will not recommend Campbell Chevrolet to anyone I know ever. I bought a used vehicle from Campbell Chevrolet and felt like I got a fair deal, so I took my son in to buy a car. He made a fair deal and I did the loan for him. Unfortunately I didn’t notice a $1000 over like I got a fair deal, so I took my son in to buy a car. He made a fair deal and I did the loan for him. Unfortunately I didn’t notice a $1000 overcharge when I signed the contract. After writing a negative review because I felt I had been ripped off, the dealership contacted me. The general sales manager, Eric, met with me to clear up the matter and then issued me a check for $1000. I tend to think of car dealers as money-grabbers, but the general sales manager was quick to fix an overcharge that many car dealerships would not have done. Campbell Chevrolet has a great selection to choose from. Ask for Dustin! More

I mentioned I paid $2200 extra for the extended warranty and asked if the $100 deductible would be all that I'd be required to pay, considering that's what the warranty papers say. They said yes, they'd take care of everything else. Then they decided to charge me extra because they do not charge by the labor guide, they over charge. When I argued with Gina, the manager, her response was "It's not fair to our technicians" but apparently it was fair for them to lie to me. Every other dealership I've spoken with said these guys overcharge on their labor. Will never do business with them again. More

I was told it would be a $300 job and it turned into $200 more and then afterwords I needed a new engine because they forgot to attach the turbo hose that they took off. Every conversation was backpedaled to tell me something else was wrong. Not sure if they remember what they tell their customers but I would never return to this company again. More
