Poor service and bad workmanship I arrived for my appointment a little early today and service advisor Carl Litner said it would take 2 hours for the recall work and the oil change I' I arrived for my appointment a little early today and service advisor Carl Litner said it would take 2 hours for the recall work and the oil change I'd scheduled for my Tundra. I asked him to call me when finished. At 2 hrs and 15 min I went looking for Carl to see how much more time would be needed but he was nowhere to be found. As I look around for him I see my truck finished and parked out front for who knows how long. I ask another service rep to help me find Carl and he looks me up and finishes the paperwork on the computer. As I walk out after the paperwork and paying, still no sign of Carl. As I get to my truck, I see they did the complementary wash then proceeded through some big puddles on the way to the front, leaving muddy water splatter on both sides of the truck. It is now more dirty than when I came in. Looking at the paperwork I received, there is no mention of a safety inspection points like I asked Carl to have them look at like belts and hoses. All the paperwork says is "There were other repairs / service recommended - see estimate," but there was no estimate or listing of what they checked. When I get home, I check the oil level and see it has been overfilled which is not good for the engine. And I also notice one of the three bolts that hold up the front of the factory skid plate is so loose I can tighten it 2 complete turns with my fingers. I expect much better from a dealership. More

Robert was able to source the tire, have it balanced, installed, and get me on my way to Thanksgiving dinner in Flagstaff, by 4:35 the same day... and I had no appointment either. I've had 4 vehicles regularly serviced at Camelback since 2005. Their work has always been accomplished on time and done properly. I've never been pressured to do any unnecessary repairs. Mike Romero, service adviser, has always been cordial, honest, and accommodating. The customer waiting area in the new facility is world-class. There is an upstairs quiet area that is perfect for doing computer work while waiting for your vehicle. They even have two auto-massage rooms that are no-charge! Also, they provide free coffee, bottled water, pastries, and popcorn. If you are really hungry, you can purchase a sandwich or salad for a very reasonable price. One thing I find especially unique is that the cashier offers me an ice-cold bottle of water when I check out. How great is that in Phoenix, AZ in August? I recently bought a Camry from another dealer, who (surprisingly) beat Camelback's price. I took the car to this dealer for the first two free services...never again...did not make us feel like a valued customer. Camelback will get all my service business in the future. I hope Camelback Toyota values Mike Romero as a super employee. He is the primary reason that I and several of my friends will continue to go back to Camelback for service. More
Went in first oil change/check low tire pressure light was on had the toy/4runner 2012 for just about a year. I don't drive it much the Mileage was 2,203 miles was told a nail was in tire and would cost me more than 200 for 1 tire. This is the main thing I hate about dealerships when they see a woman walk in automatically she's dumb. 2200 miles on a truck tire and 1 nail and I need to replace the tire. To make it even worse they put my Spare on the truck, said it was to keep me safe and then cleaned the truck up and let me leave with 3 rims and a spare. The low tire pressure light is still on and I felt as though the 2hrs I sat there waiting for my truck was a waste of my time. I paid for that extended warranty which is supposed to cover everything, well evidently not everything. I guess the big problem is that a tire can be totaled from 1 nail. What are these tires made of rubber? Bathe tire still looked as new as it did when I drove it out of the dealership. Is this the way I want a dealership to treat me after I spent over 40,000 with them. I think not. I think things could have be handled differently but evidently it's all about making money. I talked to the Service Manager and explained to him how I felt about the situation. We agreed there should have been more options considering the milage I put on the car yearly. He was very nice and knowledgeable and made me feel as though I was the important one. My negativity came from frustration and I should have talked to him first. My rating has changed and next time I will talk to the manage first. More
