Hello Cherylynn, Thank you for taking the time to speak with me regarding the missing mirror trim piece concern. I'm sorry for any frustration this matter has caused you. Since there is no mechanical failure with your mirror; Toyota’s warranty about missing parts is that “an outside influence” will cause a piece of a component to fall off or break which is not covered by the warranty. However, we contacted Toyota Headquarters on your behalf and they are going to investigate this matter and provide coverage for the missing trim piece as a goodwill gesture.
