Went to this dealership in Nov 2013 to purchase a new vehicle for myself and daughter this transaction went very well with the people that I worked with unfortunately had a car accident Dec 2013 and th vehicle for myself and daughter this transaction went very well with the people that I worked with unfortunately had a car accident Dec 2013 and the car was totaled , had the car delivered back to the dealership. Went thru the process with the insurance and waited to have car paid off. Decided that I wanted another Kia so went back thinking that I would receive the same service started out that way but ended completely different. Was told by finance that the deal would be structured the exact same way since I had just put down $1250.00 a few prior, so why would I put another large amount down. Went to the dealership with myself and my daughter more times than I can count to sign paperwork that was a hour waiting period each time. Normally when I go to the dealership my daughter is with me making sure that all the numbers match warranty etc. We got 2nd car at the end of Dec January 30 went to the dealership without my daughter to sign paperwork finance spoke with my daughter and stated that everything was the same as last deal nothing to worry about WRONGGGGGGG they changed extended warranty , removed GAP insurance then put that there was $1000 deposit that wasnt discussed with me nor my daughter. Was advised that we may need to put down $500.00 my daughter gave a post dated check if this was needed but was told on the 1st deal that since she wasnt on the loan she couldnt use her check however they still accepted never notified us if we needed payment or not. My daughter called and texted finance person from January 28,2014 to Feb 22,2014 regarding warranty and payment but was ignored also called and went to dealership still couldnt get a answer. Strangely we receive a collections letter stating that we owe $1000 for a car that we have had for a little over 3 months. Called the number on the letter still waiting on call back, called finance no response called the Customer Relations Manager Susan left 3 voice mails still no response back . This is a very poor way to do business now everyone is quite I will never purchase from this dealership again and will tell anyone not to go there also, one thing I despise is being taking advantage off. As i write this post still have not gotten a response from anyway. More
I went to the tent sale back in January of 2014 after Cindy referred me to the tent sale, and the sales employee for Camelback Kia at the tent sale was very nice and helped us buy a fairly new used car w Cindy referred me to the tent sale, and the sales employee for Camelback Kia at the tent sale was very nice and helped us buy a fairly new used car within a reasonable budget. Had not specific brands in mind but ended up with a 2011 Honda Fit with roughly 60,000 miles on it, still a bit high for 10k but still reasonable for a Honda. They said that the plate on the old vehicle used to trade in could be used and that's what we preferred, however that was not the case. The closer it had gotten to the end of the temporary registration, The more I had to call them and ADOT to see where the tags are for the plate I wanted to use. ADOT had said that Camelback Kia was using a third party to conduct my tags and that was perfectly okay, but why so long? Camelback Kia was definitely not helpful, always putting me on hold and telling me not to worry, it will be here before my temps expire. I finally called them again a few days before it was to expire and they told me they were registering it then and now and I finally thought I was making progress. Well When I call ADOT to see where they would be, instead of using my old plate they are sending me one of the new crappy Arizona plates, not something I wanted. The lady with ADOT said when both tags arrive, the one for the new plates and the old plate I have to go down to the MVD myself and fix this whole mess. Finally to top it all off I will have to make an hour long journey to this establishment for them to only print me up another temporary plate and continue to wait it out. Not a place I would recommend More
Save your time, money and sanity. Do not go to Camelback kia/hyundia. This dealership is Horrible, horrible, horrible the absolute worst experience I've ever had. They could care less about the customer. I kia/hyundia. This dealership is Horrible, horrible, horrible the absolute worst experience I've ever had. They could care less about the customer. I was there for 5 hours and was never explained anything about the vehicle I was interested in. They were very non informative I had to look up information on the internet cause they didn't know facts about the car I was interested in. I had looked on the internet prior to coming up to the dealership and found that they had the exact vehicle I was interested in and spoke with the rob koperno on the phone and he told me he put his hands on the vehicle I was interested in and guaranteed me that it was there. Amazingly when I got there they didn't have that vehicle so I should have just turned around right then and left since I was clearly already being lied to but they then told me they guaranteed that they could find that exact vehicle I wanted and get it to there dealership. After waiting for what felt like forever they come back and said they couldn't find that exact vehicle and proceeded to lie some more about what a great deal they could make me on another vehicle. After a while they sent out the sales manager his name was Chris tafoya. Chris tafoya the sales manager was the worst person I had to deal with by far. He was so rude and condescending it made me sick. If he comes out to talk with you about your payment or the numbers, run in the other direction before the lies start rolling out. Then after hours of back and forth they said they worked out the numbers and were sending me inside to finish up everything with Darlene in finance. At that time I was just glad to be getting away from the sales manager Chris tafoya. Darlene was very uninformative and just kept throwing the papers at me to sign. Every time I asked a question she deflected it and said that my salesman rob koperno would answer all my questions when we were done. Another lie. I also noticed that there wasn't a lien holder on my contract and asked why that was and again she said my salesman would answer all those question as soon as we were done. After I finished with Darlene I went back out to my salesman rob koperno and asked him the questions I had and he surprisingly said Darlene should have answered those questions for you and he didn't have any of those answers and he told me I should have just asked darlene those questions. They just kept passing the blame to each other. This a horribly run and managed company please save yourself the horrible experience and steer very clear of this place. They are not to be trusted. Everything they tell you will be a lie, so please go somewhere else and save yourself the time, money and sanity. More
On Jan 5,2014, I visited Camelback Kia. I didn't have the intention of buying a car that day. I went to pick up my mother who was leaving her car for service. As I was waiting, I met with Terrance Ransom the intention of buying a car that day. I went to pick up my mother who was leaving her car for service. As I was waiting, I met with Terrance Ransom. Terrance was very knowledgeable and very respectful as he presented a 2013 kia optima. He offered to allow me to take the vehicle out for a test drive. During the test drive, Terrance answered all my questions and also advised me of all the features in the vehicle. Not once did I feel pressured into buying the car. May I add that I am not an easy person to convince. Once we arrived at the dealership, Terrance was very tentative to my mother and I. He worked out a great deal with me and stayed with us until paperwork was finalized. Terrance also made sure that the little minor things with the car were taken care of. I would highly recommend anyone interested in a vehicle to ask for Terrance Ransom. More
DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR HERE.....The sales people and the finance department are all liars. Last year I leased a car from this dealership and purchased a vehicle protection plan. I wasnt provided the orignal finance department are all liars. Last year I leased a car from this dealership and purchased a vehicle protection plan. I wasnt provided the orignal documents (which needless to say is my fault for walking out that day without them but I was extremely tired because the whole deal took about 8 hours from start to finish. I actually think that is their technique so they can have shady deals) Anyhow, I continued to request for a copy of my deal especially for the vehicle protection plan. I never had a response. After going back and forth with them (several different people because their turnover is crazy) today I find out I do not have the vehicle protection plan. I was signed up for another plan which is not what was told to me. Despite the fact I showed them text messages and was willing to show emails that this is not what i was told they continued to say sorry but you didnt purchase the plan. At the end of the day I did purchase the plan and someone messed up and hit the wrong button and now I am needless to say assed out. I was soo upset and they didnt do anything to try to fix it. I repeat they are alll liars do not trust them and looking at this site I am not the only one that feels that way BEWARE More
I purchased a vehicle with my own financing. They knew from the beginning that I did not want to deal with their financing or terms, so they never sent in the documentation or my blank check (which they n from the beginning that I did not want to deal with their financing or terms, so they never sent in the documentation or my blank check (which they never had me sign) from my approved lender Capital One. After One week of me contacting them and asking why they have not contacted my lender, they claim there was a problem with Capital One and the Loan to Value ratio. They lied outright because I have been in contact with Capital One and Capital One already told me Camelback Hyundai never contacted them. Matter of fact, Capital One had contacted Camelback and they NEVER returned their call. Camelback then tried to get me to sign another contract under Fifth Third Bank with a larger interest rate. I told them I was not interested and returned the car to them. Camelback Hyundai is now trying to scam me and say I own the car and they have transferred the contract to Fifth Third Bank. How can they when I didn’t sign anything with Fifth Third Bank? I was approved with my own financing (had a check) and because they were not going to make any money off the deal, they decided to try to do the “Spot-On” scam from the start. Read about it and be very careful when going to any dealership, here is the website http://www.autocheatsheet.com/Car-Buying/Vehicle-scams.asp . I will never set foot in a Camelback Hyundai-Kia dealership and will make sure I spread the word to any friends, family and acquaintances to stay far away from them. I have submitted complaints to the Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney’s office for consumer fraud. More

I visited Camelback Kia on October 19, 2013, to look for a used car <$10K, <60K miles. There were no cars matching my criteria on the front lot so I was taken to the back lot to look at cars that had been t a used car <$10K, <60K miles. There were no cars matching my criteria on the front lot so I was taken to the back lot to look at cars that had been taken in on trade that day. From those, I selected a 2005 Kia Sportage with 66K miles. I worked with my salesperson, Marissa, to negotiate a good price, $9,500, and secure financing. I signed all the paperwork for the car and completed the transaction, or so I thought... Because the car had just been taken in that day, I was told that it needed to be inspected and detailed by the service department before it would be available for me to pick up. At that time, I was told that the car would be available as early as Sunday, October 20th or, by the very latest, Wednesday, October 23, 2013. I called each day to check on the progress and was continually assured that the car would be ready as promised. On Tuesday, October 22, 2013, however, the staff stopped returning my calls. Finally, on Wednesday, October 23, I received a call from the sales manager, Robert, who informed me that the car that I thought I'd purchased was never actually Camelback Kia's to sell. Apparently, the couple who'd traded in the Kia Sportage were unhappy with the terms of their deal and had not signed the car over to the dealership. At that time, I told Robert that there were two ways they could make me happy: 1) deliver the Kia Sportage ASAP once it became theirs and, in the interim, provide me with a loaner car or 2) sell me an equivalent (or nicer) vehicle for the same price. Robert (the scoundrel) told me over the phone that they had two vehicles ready for sale that would work: 1) a 2009 Kia Rondo priced at $10,900 and 2) a 2009 Nissan Versa priced at $9,995. Based on that information, I drove 45 minutes to the dealership to look at the options. There, I settled on the Kia Rondo; however, Robert then informed me that the car was not $10,900 as promised but now was priced at $12,000+. I call shenanigans!!! Not only did Robert flat out lie to me on the phone about the price of the car but, when I balked at the price increase, he told me, "I don't care if you buy the car of not." So much for customer service! When I told Robert that I was going to file complaints with the BBB and the AZ Attorney General, he became irrate and accused me of "threatening him". Hardly. I was merely informing him that I planned to report him and Camelback Kia for what I view to be, if not illegal, highly unethical business practices. More

I have purchased about 12 or 13 new cars in the past. At this dealership i was treated fairly and professionally and much better than my previous purchase experiences. In addition I was called every other this dealership i was treated fairly and professionally and much better than my previous purchase experiences. In addition I was called every other week by an employee named Marisa telling me of special sales events. I had no intent of purchasing a car on the day i returned to to the dealership after being told by Marisa that they were practically giving the cars away. However my wife and I were treated so well that 90 minutes later we left with a new Hyundai. They did not give the car away but they made us feel very comfortable making this decision in very brief time. More
