***BUYER BEWARE*** I would give a zero or negative star rating if I could. In September 2021, my son purchased what was sold to him as a LIKE NEW 2018 Dodge Challenger. It had roughly 47K miles on it, a rating if I could. In September 2021, my son purchased what was sold to him as a LIKE NEW 2018 Dodge Challenger. It had roughly 47K miles on it, advertised as a ONE-OWNER. My son paid asking price for it and also purchased a premium warranty package. After 6 months and less than 10K miles, it was found by our local Dodge dealership that the engine had bad sludge and needed to be replaced. The extent of the build up was caused by the previous owner. Therefore, since it was neglect, the Dodge powertrain warranty would not cover replacing the engine. The additional purchased warranty also would not cover this because of neglect. This was a $12,000 repair, that should have been discovered by this dealership before selling this car to ANYONE. This dealership has done NOTHING to help with this. During discussions with the managers, their response was "IT IS A USED CAR". So, if you purchase a used vehicle from them, you are on your own. They do not stand behind the vehicles they sell. We also found out that on the CARFAX report, the vehicle had been STOLEN and was out of the previous owner's possession for over 2 weeks...no telling what damage was done by a thief during this timeframe. THIS WAS NOT DISCLOSED. ALWAYS ASK FOR THE CARFAX REPORT BEFORE BUYING A USED VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. More
