I purchased a 2007 Honda Civic that came with a 3 year warranty. The warranty was close to expiring, so the person working in the finance department at that time was trying to get me to extend the warran warranty. The warranty was close to expiring, so the person working in the finance department at that time was trying to get me to extend the warranty. After going back and forth, extended warranty was costing $1,600. I was told that If I did not use the warranty, then I would get back all but $200.00 of my money back. I asked for something in writing, and was told that it was all "in the system", and all I had to do was come back to get the money, assuming I did not use the warranty during that time. Roll forward 3 years - I just got off the phone with the Honda dealership. There is a new person working in the finance department. I was told that I needed documentation and there was nothing in the system that would reflect a refund. I'm out $1,400 because I trusted someone at his word who represented Honda. I bought the 2007 Civic on Jan 1, 2007, and had all my servicing for my car done there. Being fair, the service department were always great with me. I'm friends with the person who I purchased my car from as well. Having just said that, I unfortunately can not and will not purchase another car from them because I am still out $1,400. More

Yes, the Fit is a great little car, but a big reason for dealing again with Cambridge Honda is the service provided there and the ease of purchase: informative, no pressure, low key, friendly, service oriented - all behind a fine product. Hands down, these were the best dealer experiences we've had anywhere and, Bobby Boyd (our salesman this time) represents all the best of the profession for this dealership. More
As a first time car buyer I was scared about the whole process, but Bobby was exceptional at making us feel welcome, comfortable and in good hands. I wish I had known about this web site earlier as we bought a 2007 Honda Pilot in 2007 and more recently, a 2013 Honda Odyssey - both from Cambridge Honda, and the buying experience was extremely pleasa bought a 2007 Honda Pilot in 2007 and more recently, a 2013 Honda Odyssey - both from Cambridge Honda, and the buying experience was extremely pleasant both times. From the moment we walked in to the dealership to the time we drove off with the vehicles, the staff never pressured us and kept us informed every step of the way. With the most recent purchase (the 2013 Honda Odyssey), a minor issue arose with the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) - nothing to do with Cambridge Honda. A lesser dealership may have punted the issue on to me and say it was my problem (which it was), but Cambridge Honda worked with the RMV to get the issue resolved so I wouldn’t have to wait in line at the RMV. I really appreciated their attitude to help us out and make our buying experience as pleasant as possible. For the recent purchase, we worked with Bobby. Bobby worked with us in selecting the configuration we wanted as well as options. The trim line and color we wanted wasn’t in inventory at Cambridge Honda so Bobby had the Cambridge Honda staff search all the local dealerships so we wouldn’t have to wait the potentially long time for one to come from the factory. Bobby keep us informed through every step of the process from finding the exact configuration we wanted at a local dealer to how the installation of the options was going through when we could pick up the new vehicle. When we couldn’t resolve the RMV issue on the day we discovered it, I happened to be at the dealership thinking I was going to drive off with the new Odyssey. Once it became clear that wasn’t going to happen, Bobby even personally drove me home. Even after driving off with the vehicle, Bobby checked-in to make sure we were happy and didn’t have any questions regarding the vehicle or any of its advanced functions. Talk about customer service! I used to be a Ford man all my life. However, we had our first child in 2001 and needed to get a minivan. At the time, Consumer Reports had rated the Honda Odyssey as the top minivan they had tested so we bought one then. I have been a Honda convert since. We love our 2007 Honda Pilot and just traded up from a 2001 Odyssey to a 2013 Odyssey. We moved to the greater Boston area in 2005 and have been doing all our maintenance at Cambridge Honda as well. If you’re in the market for a Honda (or any car for that matter), Cambridge Honda is a dealership we can highly recommend. They are not in it for a quick, short term sale. Rather, they are interested in forging long time relationships with their customers and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that happens. More
Well, I'd been driving the old Pathfinder for 17 years, so it's not like I have a huge amount of car-buying experience, but of the salespeople and dealerships I had contact with during this recent p years, so it's not like I have a huge amount of car-buying experience, but of the salespeople and dealerships I had contact with during this recent purchase of a 2013 Honda CR-V, Bobby and Cambridge Honda were my favorites. I did my homework, which helped me not ask too many stupid questions, but Bobby was very frank and very helpful all the way. Plus, he's just a really nice guy. Given that the job description "car salesman" is sometimes used as a synonym for someone trying to be "pushy" and to "put one over on you," it was refreshing to hear Bobby say that he's spent his entire career trying to change that unfortunate stereotype. He's out to create a longer term relationship with the customer, and from what I could see, they do keep coming back to him. Everyone else I dealt with at the dealership was also very pleasant. More
Bobby Boyd is one of the most professional, friendliest and honest Sales Consultants that I've ever dealt with. I have been purchasing my vehicles from Cambridge Honda for serveral years and have been for and honest Sales Consultants that I've ever dealt with. I have been purchasing my vehicles from Cambridge Honda for serveral years and have been fortunate to have Bobby as my consultant for the past 10 years. I just leased my fourth vehicle under his supervision and the experience was, as ususal, seamless. He takes the extra time to answer all questions and concerns (no matter how small) that you may have about the purchase of your vehicle. He is there after your purchase to help with any problems that may arrise and makes sure that your visit to the service department was successful. He has been a huge help to myself and my husband when issues arrise during the period of the lease. I appreciate the work that all the employees at Cambridge Honda provide, but I am definitely a regular customer because of the role Bobby Boyd has played in my experiences with Cambridge Honda. I only wish that for those associates (such as Bobby) who continually bring customers back to the dealership for new purchases, that they get a more feasable commission. Great customer service is so important to customers and it is always appreciated. More
My experience with my sales person (Justin Crosby) was great. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with the buying process. Even though the dealer did not have the color and options that I wanted i great. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with the buying process. Justin was amazing to work with when I went in to buy a new Fit when my previous car started to show its age. He was remarkably patient in dealing with myself and my father (on the phone!) and was never without a smile. He seemed just as excited as I was about my purchasing this car. Everyone at the dealership was amazing. They gave me a ride back to my apartment (about 3 miles away) so I could pick up my car to trade-in. Even when my car spontaneously didn't start, Justin was amazing. He helped me to figure out where I could donate the car, and then offered to give me a rental car so I could get to work on Monday (as my Fit wouldn't be ready until then). Overall, it was an easy and uncomplicated process, and everyone at Cambridge Honda was a breeze to work with. More
Bobby Boyd was totally helpful from the beginning to the end of the transaction and, just as importantly, after the transaction when I was becoming acquainted with the car (having signed and purchased). Th end of the transaction and, just as importantly, after the transaction when I was becoming acquainted with the car (having signed and purchased). This is my third transaction with the Cambridge dealership, and each one has been professional, helpful, enthusiastic, and friendly. Each time I have been satisfied with my Accord from the moment I drove it out of the lot. And also in between because I service my cars at the dealership. The reason for that is unfailingly prompt, expert, and courteous treatment whether for a routine oil change or something more serious. I had done my research on-line and also driven some other makes that had gotten good reviews; there are now a range of good cars on the market, some of which tempted me. The attentiveness and thoroughness of everyone I dealt with, but particularly Bobby Boyd, who did all the heavy lifting in the deal, made a big difference in my choice to stay with Honda. The changes in the Accord, particularly the improved headlights, visibility, camera and other safety features were also important. I love all the bells and whistles. Who does not? But they don't save your life. Because the new Accord is a fairly "techy" vehicle, having someone take the time to make sure a new owner "gets it" is critical to the proper use and enjoyment of the car. I am impressed by the clarity of the manual as well (again) the patience of Bobby Boyd in taking me through all the technical aspects of the car. I am sure I will have questions and have confidence that I will be able to get answers from the dealership. I have nothing but compliments for the Cambridge dealership and have (and will continue) recommended it to others. They have an exemplary operation. Kudos and thanks to them. Sallie Adams More
