The sales manager yelled at us saying we wasted his time in front of everyone literally for 10 minutes in very loud and rude way possible. My wife’s birthday is today Oct 11 and yesterday evening, I took her to Cambridge honda directly from work to get her first car. She didn’t even knew I was going to buy a car for her. The ways sales manager yelled traumatized my wife and she couldn’t sleep last night. Not only he ruined her birthday but traumatized her. We went there around 5:15pm and spent about 20 minutes test riding and calculating some numbers. After calculating some numbers, the sales man (TJ) had to go twice to his sales manager for approval but the monthly payment was somehow still high so my wife hesitated and asked me maybe we should think about it and come tomorrow morning. That’s was all. Then this sales manager in duty on Oct 10 Friday, came out from his office and started yelling at us, saying we are not there to buy a car but to waste his valuable time. He kept yelling at us that his time is very precious and can’t be returned once wasted. And don’t come to buy a car if you’re not capable of and waste his time and effort. His reaction was over the floor and goes thumping the car with his hand that was on floor. All I asked for was possible way to lower the monthly premium, either by increasing down, Or perhaps different trim that may work under my budget but no I supposed to just buy whatever this so called manager has put it on paper. But he kept yelling that you customers have all the rights in the world to waste time, and he also added we as dealers also have rights not sale a car to us. My poor wife couldn’t take more of his bitterness and walked out of the door and so did I. I am not sure how they even have a business with such customer service. Perhaps, the corporate or HR can do something to this so-called sales manage. Maybe his precious time should let him keep and stay at home not spend misbehaving with customers. Note: I wanted to buy a car was putting down 8k cash and rest in finance on 2025 civic touring hybrid hatchback. More
